Matt and you talked about almost everything. From the way you love your hair straightener to the many nights you had studied before an exam. You felt a connection between the two of you. Maybe it was destiny? Maybe it was coincidence? Who knows.
"I love your voice, it's so calming"
You felt your cheeks reddening and sighed. "thank you, I like your accent" Matt snorted and you could hear yelling in the background. "Chris shut up" you heard Matt say loudly. "who's with you?" you asked being curious. "my brother Chris, he's in my room"
"hi!" yelled Chris cutely. "hi Chris!" you said putting your phone on speaker so you could multi-task. You grabbed potatoes out of your kitchen pantry and began to remove its skin. "what are you doing?" you heard Matt ask when you hissed having cut your pointer finger.
It began bleeding so you ran to your first aid kit in the hall and grabbed a bandage. You put it on and went back to your kitchen. "I just cut my finger slicing a potato" you said and heard a soft 'hmm' coming from your phone.
