October and November passed quickly, and Thanksgiving break was next week. Most teachers were giving out final assignments and tests before the break. Oliver and Skylar were finally fully together, no longer in their weird in between stage. I still wanted Harper to finally ask Logan out, but she was too stubborn to not let him make the first move.

It was currently lunch, all six of us sitting down, Logan was talking with Hunter and Harper, who had bright eyes and a wide grin as she watched Logan while he spoke. Oliver had his hand intertwined with Skylar's under the table. It was slightly difficult to tell, but once I realized that they were both only eating with the opposite hands, it was fairly easy to decipher where their other hands were.

Oliver was the first to bring up the upcoming holiday. "So, what's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I do want to try and get together at least once over break, when we don't have to worry about school..." He trailed off, unsure on whether anyone was leaving town for the week-long break.

Skylar leaned into Oliver's side subtly, "I'm not doing much, just spending Thanksgiving at my grandparents' about an hour or so away. I should be free for the rest of the break." Harper nodded, and knowing her she had already planned something.

"I was planning to have a sort of friendsgiving thing? Maybe a day or two before Thanksgiving?" Harper mentioned, receiving several emphatic nods. Logan had a small smile as he glanced over to Harper, and I felt a small smirk forming on my lips at the sight.

Logan definitely had some sort of feelings for my best friend, and it was down to him to make the first move. Harper deserved someone like Logan, one who would take care of her, but also encourage her to be her own person. I wasn't sure when, or even if, they would finally figure themselves out, but I could only hope that one of them would do something about it before the chance was gone.

Shaking my head slightly, I turned back into the conversation as it had drifted from Thanksgiving to our next get together, and how the boys were considering going bowling.

As lunch ended, I walked out of the cafeteria, nodding as a goodbye to Harper and some of the others. Except for the tag along.

"So, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?" Hunter questioned from beside me.

I sighed slightly, "Not much, my mother will either be home sleeping or out somewhere, so I'll probably just chill at home." I shrugged, only slightly bothered at the thought of yet another boring Thanksgiving.

Hunter nodded with a small frown, his expression changing as he seemed to leave the conversation. We walked in silence, the loud chatter of the bustling hallway making up for our lack of conversation. I went to turn to go to class, but Hunter grasped my wrist, lightly pulling me back.

Glancing up at him, I gave him a puzzled look. "I uh," he cleared his throat, eyes darting around nervously. I arched an eyebrow. "I was wondering if you wanted to maybe spend Thanksgiving with my family? I'd have to ask my parents of course, but I don't think they'd mind. And it's totally fine if not, I definitely don't want to pressure you into anything. Sorry-"
