Third chapter of Nonexistent! Enjoy!

I bit back a 'watch it,' as my friend bumped shoulders with me. Glancing over, I heard a mumbled sorry from a black haired girl who continued on her path, not even bothering to look up. The girl was pretty, at least, from what I saw from her run in with Oliver. I didn't think to call out for her to turn around and walk herself back over here. Doubt she would've heard me anyways, she was long gone by now.
Looking to my left, Oliver walked next to me. Oliver and I had been friends since seventh grade. Oliver had brown hair with brown eyes, by far the simplest of us all. He was the jokester of the group and the player. Most of the time, there was a different girl at his side weekly, none of them lasted longer than that.
On my right, Logan strode with power in his step. Logan was the silent, broody one of us. The three of us had been friends since middle school when we met at a football practice. Logan had curly dark brown hair with vibrant green eyes. Most girls were entranced by him but were too scared to walk up to him.
I, however, had the best of both worlds. I had slightly curly, dirty blonde hair with bright blue eyes that I had been told looked like oceans. Of course, I wasn't into dating. Neither was I into flings. Being the main leader of our trio meant that most people wanted to date me. Sadly for them, I was waiting for 'The One.' Most guys these days didn't care to find their perfect match, only wanting girls for their use not feelings.
While growing up I had watched my parent's relationship and had strived to be like them. I hadn't had my actual first girlfriend yet. I was waiting for that one girl who would catch my eye and I wouldn't be able to escape. Honestly, I couldn't care less about what she looked like, though looks are a nice bonus. I couldn't wait to find her. Logan and Oliver weren't waiting for specific people, Oliver dating around and Logan choosing not to date. I didn't know why, but Logan had never really had an interest in anyone.
The bell rang, signaling we were going to be late if we didn't move now. Rolling my eyes, I gave a nod to my boys and walked to my next class.

I walked in through my front door yelling, "I'm home!" My mother walked into the room from the kitchen, rolling her eyes. "Yes, you don't need to make your presence known to the whole neighborhood. But, what you can do is help your brother with his homework." I let out a groan, but nodded anyways.
Jogging up the steps to my brother's room, I knocked loudly. "I'm coming in Jase!" Opening the door, I was met with the sight of my ten-year-old brother hanging upside down on the side of his bed, drawing. I don't know how he does it but he has a talent for art. Jason Brooks, my little brother and aspiring artist. He could literally look at an image once and recreate it perfectly.
"Hey kid, we need to get your homework done before mom finds out, alright?" Jason nodded, still focused on his sketchbook. I walked over to him and took the pencil from his hand. He groaned in response and sat up, his face red from hanging upside down. Standing up, Jason walked over to his desk and sat down, opening up his math homework.
The kid was incredibly talented in any form of the arts, but math. Math was not his strong suit. So, after my mom found out he had almost failed a test, had me start helping with his math homework to help him get a better understanding. Luckily, I love my mom a lot, so I didn't put up much of a fight when she told me. Plus, I actually liked my little brother, he was like a mini me. It was awesome.
Soon enough, we had the math done and he was back to drawing, I couldn't tell what it was. I walked back downstairs, heading straight towards the kitchen. As soon as I sat down at one of the barstools the front door opened. My dad walked in, setting down his briefcase and walking over to the kitchen. Soon after, my mom walked in and gave him a peck on the cheek, before starting on dinner.
"So, Hunter, how was your day at school," my mom, of course, had to ask my least favorite question of the day. "Great." I said with as much sincerity I could manage. "Hunter, don't ever become an actor. You're horrible at lying." I flushed and gave my mom an embarrassed smile. "Not the greatest then. Spanish sucked as usual." My mom nodded and continued with dinner, asking my father questions.
Dinner was finished quickly. After we ate, I headed up to my room. Walking over to my desk, I began my homework, not being able to get my mind off of that girl. I didn't know her name or she is, all I knew was the she had black hair and was pretty. Shaking my head to clear it, I focused back on my work, leaving the mystery girl out of my thoughts.
