Chapter 6

Previously on Let Me Hear You

All of the boys are on the football team, and the band, they talked with the coach and music teacher about the best way to balance both. When they don't play football, they work in the band. But if they have a game to prepare for, the band must be put on hold until after the game. The boys and music teacher agreed as it's the best way so they aren't distracted before the game.

Constants POV  

Once we got to the school, we stopped by the band room to see the boys play something before class started. I know what you are thinking. How did the boys get to the school before us? Well that is simple, we stopped at Dunkin to get something to drink, and something for the boys.

That's something we do from time to time when they practice and waste their energy on practice and need something to eat before class, and don't have time to get some at the Cafeteria.  

"You guys sound good, and because you should so good, us girls are giving you a break and giving you food," I said to them 

They looked at us and smiled, and they got out of their spots and grabbed their food and drinks. Each bag had their names on it with their drink near it, unless you were me who had 2 different drinks and bags of food.

I had both Jonah's and Zach's only because the girls and I thought it would be cute if they got it from the same person, it just happened to be me. After Zach got his food and drink Jonah gave me and the girls a death stare.

"Hey don't be like that we just gave you a moment with your little crush. So do you hear anything yet?" I asked him whispering so only he and the girls can hear me, he then shook his head.

"It's ok it'll happen if it's not Zach. Then your soulmate knows that your age bc of the band, so that's a good thing right." I said to him trying to cheer him up as best as I could, and he nodded his head again looking kinda sad.

"Are you guys full? The first period is starting soon and for most of us it's on the other side of the building." Jasmine said to them and they nodded their heads along with ours. Let the school nightmare begin, haha.

-------- Time Skip to lunch --------

It was finally lunch and today it's just us girls in our booth while Jonah is with the boys. some of us were doing our homework, it was Brook and Jasmine. They always find a way to do it during lunch even when Scarlette and I tell them no. Unlike us, one wants to get into an Ivy League college, while the other wants to be in another country altogether.

If you guessed who was who then good for you, give yourself a cookie or something. Jasmine is Ivy league and Brook is going away whenever she leaves, even though she is smart and can skip a grade she said before that she didn't want to do that.  

All day I haven't heard anything from Yoongi, I know he could be asleep, but I didn't hear anything when it was late last night either, I hope he's ok. I soon start to space out thinking about the worse that can happen. 

What if something bad happened? What if he got into an accident? So many things running through my head, a lot of bad what-ifs. Soon I got shaken by  Scarlette, who was sitting next to me. 

"Are you ok? You were spacing out." She said to me 

"Sorry I was thinking about Yoongi, I haven't heard anything for several hours," I said to her and the girls looked at me 

"What really?" Jasmine said to me, and I nodded my head

"Ok well don't worry why don't we go on their social media platforms and see if they said anything about him. We don't want to jump to anything bad just yet." She said to me and the girls

We all got on our phones and went on in investigation mode. I went on Weavers, Jasmine and Brook took Twitter, and Scarlett went to try on V-live. I couldn't find anything from them, for the fun of it I tried Instagram.

Scarlett couldn't find anything so she set her phone down and waited for us to be done. After looking and seeing nothing new on their joint account I went to the boy's main accounts and found something on Jimin's account.

"Guys I found something" I said and showed them a picture, It was of yoongi in a hospital bed.

"What does it say?" Jasmine said seeing there was a caption. (Pretend his appendix wasn't taken out yet or ruptured)

" Ok it says 'My dear hyung wasn't feeling well last night. He was hurting so much we had to take him to the hospital, they said he's appendix had ruptured and had to go into immediate surgery. He's sleeping as I post this, but I hope your better and as his soulmate is an army text me to prove it here and now. ' This was posted an hour ago and he's still active. Should I do it now ?" I said to them

They nodded their heads, so I went to Jimin's message and texted him. They stayed quiet and didn't say anything, they were just waiting for the conversation to be over.

States and my birthday was
yesterday I found out at school
around this time that Yoongi
was my soulmate

I sent it and not long after he replied

Not long after an old song was playing in my ears it took a bit but I knew what it was. I then typed Adult Child, it took awhile for Jimin to text back

music I went for the older ones
first thought it would help me
see what you'd look like and
how you guys sounded like
and how different you are now

Oh that is cool, but do not
worry about Yoongi he's much
better he'll be back on his feet
in no time, he wants to know if your going to an upcoming concerts

Yes I got back stage passes
but my friends are joining me
It's like how guys feel without a member it's the same with me
and my friends I cannot go by
myself without my girls

After he sent that the bell rang for the next period and I had to tell Jimin sadly I must go to class. I told him before I left the chat and the day we are going. I screenshoted the chat and sent it to our group chat. Just before we all split up I said something to them

"Guys before we split, I sent to messages from me and Jimin to you guys, so when you have time you can read them. To make sure Jonah isn't excluded from this I sent it to him as well." They smiled and nodded their heads, hugging me and we all left
