broken marriage: diana and charles

chapter 1: caught

diana's pov:
me and Charles have been married for a year now and i'm still pregnant with my baby boy. I haven't seen him for a few days he left me in the palace after an argument we had, i was feeling incredibly sick but her majesty the queen had requested both me and Charles to a lunch. I was feeling too sick to go and Charles was angry as ever so, i locked my self in my room. I could hear him slamming into the door and yelling "she's not just your mother in law she's your queen" i'm completely unhappy with this marriage i feel like all i was needed for was to produce an heir to the throne. after i got pregnant i've felt completely unwanted by my husband.

Whilst im reflecting on all that's happened in the past year i hear a knock at the door "come in" i said softly. It was my private secretary "hello your highness" she curtsied "you know you don't need to do that" i said smiling "i know but i feel it is the right way to address you" she stated "right then I was told to give this to you as it is urgent" she handed me a letter.
