POV - Mikado
DING-DONG, BING-BONG!
"Two bodies have been discovered! We will now commence a brief investigation period following the class trial. Please refer to the Monocrow files for more information. Love, Monocrow."
As Nikei stared in horror at Shinji's and Kanade's bodies, time seemed to stand still. My screams behind him trailed off into frantic wailing. Although it felt like an eternity, it was really maybe only a couple minutes before everybody else arrived. Amongst the others, Teruya and Sora burst their way in, gasped loudly at the sight and fell wide-eyed to their knees.
"Fuck, really?! Again?!" Syobai shouted, in frustration and dismay.
"Two victims...?!" Iroha coughed.
"Oh my god... why?! Why those two?!" Kokoro paled.
"Shinji... Kanade...!" Sora breathed, tears already streaming from her face.
"What... What h-happened...?" Teruya's weak voice fluttered between quick, shallow breaths. "...Why...?"
"GAAAAH! Oh gods, no, sister!" Hibiki's face immediately lost all of its color.
"S-Shinji? Kanade?!" Setsuka said as she pulled on her backpack straps, terrified tears welling up in her eyes. "W-who could have done this to the two of them...?! Th-This...This is just... awful!!"
I stopped screaming long enough to reassure everyone.
"Pl-please- everyone-! We'll get to the bottom of this, I swear. We'll find out who killed Shinji and Kanade. I promise you!" I spoke.
"Let's investigate." Nikei said.
"A-Again? We must do this again...?" Kokoro whined.
"We have no choice," Teruya sighed. "If this means that one of us killed these two... we cannot simply stand by. Murdering one person is bad enough, but two is so much worse... and with the motive? Absolutely disgusting! Whoever has done this must be stopped!" I gasped quietly as I realized that Teruya was right; a small spark of anger ignited and burned away the grief in my heart. Stowing it away for later, I knew what I had to do for now.
"Shinji... Kanade... they did not deserve this!" I glowered.
"First Yoruko... now those two...!" Sora seethed. "Whoever you are, I will find you and make sure you face justice for what you've done!"
"Yes... also, we must figure out who did this, otherwise we'll all be next...!" said Syobai.
"In that case, we'd better begin our investigation," Nikei nodded. I nodded as well.
Shinji... Kanade... I can't believe this happened, neither of you deserved to die... but I'll get to the bottom of this. I promise...!
"Let's end this nightmare... once and for all," I affirmed. "I know there's no way we can believe that one of us did this, but for our friends' sake, we need to find the truth!"
Investigation, Start!
First, I opened up my E-Handbook.
There are two victims this time: Shinji Kasai and Kanade Otonokoji. Both victims were found in the indoor pool's changing room. Time of death is last night. Both victims were hit over the head with a blunt object. Death was instant.

I couldn't help but frown. The deaths had occurred during Nighttime, when everybody should have been sound asleep in their rooms. Alibis were most likely going to be useless here.
