(Mr. Grits'  POV) again, I know...

The alien king was threatening us with Mr. Pepperoni Man's life. The radio must be important if the king wants to kill my best friend for it.

"Please, don't kill him!" Sandy shouted. "That depends on your friend here." The king nodded towards me, since somehow he knew I was the one who had the radio. During some of our previous adventures, I had been the superior of the gang and (sort of, not really) described as a fearless leader. Because of that, everyone turned to me expectantly, thinking that I had a plan.

I didn't.

Usually, if a bad guy would come up to me and ask me for something that I knew was important for them, I wouldn't give it to them. But, my best friend's life was in jeopardy. If I'd turn into one of my spirit animals, that would probably cause a lot of trouble. For one; nobody except us and the wise alien (including the two who witnessed it) know that we have powers. And I wouldn't be fast enough to catch up to the king either. He was standing five feet away and would break Mr. Pepperoni Man's neck by the time I got to him.

The king, being impatient, tightened his twisting grip on Mr. Pepperoni Man, leading for him to howl. That got my brain comprehending again. "Alright, alright." I put my hands up in surrender. "You win. Here," I handed the king the small radio and he rudely snatched away from me. My friends looked kind of surprised that I had given up so quickly, but then their expressions quickly changed into relief when the king let go of Mr. Pepperoni Man, who stumbled to us the second that he was released. "Thank you so much." he whispered in my ear. "No problem." I whispered back. The king examined the radio to make sure it was the actual one, and then took off, leaving us to apprehend what happened.

"Guys?" Ninja asked. We were back in the small room, gathered together in a circle and trying to discuss with one another about what we should do next. "I don't know about you, but I have a strong feeling that the king wants to kill us." "Same. He tried to kill me just now." Mr. Pepperoni Man agreed. "And what was that radio all about?" Sandy asked. "Yeah, it must have been something really important if the king wanted it so badly." Poop replied. "Man, I wish we still had it... but, it wasn't as valuable as Mr. Pepperoni Man's life." I said. Everyone nodded in agreement. "You know, now that I think about it, we should get it back. It's probably in the king's room somewhere. There's a whole lot of gold and silver and other rich mumbo-jumbo stuff stashed in there. But there's a ton of lasers for security. Trust me, I've seen it." Mr. Pepperoni Man said. "Well, how do we get it?" I asked. We thought to ourselves for a while. Then, Sandy snapped her fingers. "I have an idea!" "Let's hear it." Poop responded. Sandy leaned in closer to us to make sure no one else heard her plan. "So, I'll hack the lasers while Poop and Ninja distract any guards that'll be there. Mr. Grits and Mr. Pepperoni Man, you two search around the king's room for the radio, steal it, and swap it for a fake one. Then, we'll be out of there before the king even notices the radio is fake. Got that, boys?"

"Yep." we all replied.

"Sounds like a good plan." Ninja said. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's put this plan into action!" Sandy exclaimed. No longer did this alien ship make me feel frightened. As long as my friends were with me, everything would be fine. This was going to be fun. Or... was it...?
