EPILOGUE
HER WIFE is being so distant this past few days, and Ashton doesn't know why.
When he saw Carisha in the kitchen, he was ready to approach her. "Baby-" Hindi pa siya tapos sa sasabihin nang tinalikuran na siya nito at umalis sa kusina.
Napanganga si Ashton, "what i have done?" Maang tanong niya sa sarili.
Mabilis niyang sinundan ang asawa ngunit wala na ito sa paningin niya. What the-
"Daddy! Daddy!" The two kids called him from the entrance door.
Even Ashton felt annoyed, he still welcomed his sons with a smile and kiss.
"How was the play with Benedict and Mattina?" Tanong niya sa dalawang pawis na pawis.
"It was so fun, Daddy! I just wish we have a little sister to play with." Malungkot na sabi ng anak at ngumuso sa kaniya.
Art second said, "we promise, we'll be a good brother, Daddy. We will protect her at all cost." His son promised.
They are just seven years old yet they're acting and speaking like a teenager. His kids were growing faster, he didn't notice that.
Ashton sighed at what his sons requested, he squat infront of the two and ready his self to explain. "I told you two how many times. Mommy can't bear another baby in her tummy. It'll be risky." Paliwanag niya sa dalawa.
Ashton already tell them what happened before, because the two always asked why their Mommy is over way protective to them.
Pero sadyang makulit talaga ang mga bata gaya nalang ng mga anak niya.
"But Daddy..."
"No buts. Go upstairs and clean yourself. I'll ready your merienda." Matigas niyang sabi sa dalawa.
Bagsak ang balikat na tumayo ang dalawa sa sofà at umakyat pataas. Parang pagod na naupo siya sa sofà at napabuga ng marahas na hangin.
Ashton can't take another risk. If Carisha can't give him more babies, it's okay. If she can't give him a baby girl, it's very okay. But what not okay is seeing her again, fighting for her life.
Tumaas ang kilay niya nang makita ang asawa niyang masama ang tingin sa kaniya at padabog na umalis.
Ano ba talaga ang kasalanan niya sa asawa?
Ashton followed Carisha at the kitchen. And found her readying for merienda. Gusto niyang ngumiti pero hindi, paano ay nagdadabog ito.
Ashton grimaced, it only means one thing. Carisha is mad.
He innocently walk beside her and wash the dishes, to help Carisha to cool down. Mahirap pa man din galitin ang asawa niya, nambabato ng sandok.
Carisha took a glance of him but it didn't take a seconds and continued doing business! F-ck!
"Baby-"
"Art! Aki! Come faster! There's a cockroach here! Save, Mommy!" Malakas na sigaw ng asawa at pinagpatuloy ang paghiwa sa pipino.
Ashton blinked, "what the... Where's the cockroach?" He asked.
Carisha rolled back his eyes and simply said, "ikaw. Isa kang peste! Letse ka! Bahala ka sa buhay mo! H'wag na h'wag mo akong kakausapin!"
Napaigtad siya ng padabog nitong binitawan ang kutsilyo ay malapit-lapit na sa braso niya. D-rn it! Delikado talaga siya kapag asawa niya ang galit.
"My babies! Save Daddy from your dragon Mommy!" Sigaw niya rin kaya masama siyang tinignan ni Carisha na nagto-toast ng bread.
