Karan came to the room and was surprised to see both Monami and their cute puppy sleeping while cuddling with each other. He couldn't resist himself from smiling at this moment.
K - Monami ! Monami utho chalo khana khalo.
She didn't bulge , and kept sleeping.
K - Monami !
He said while shaking her lightly.
She woke up and rubbed her eyes.
K - khaana khaa lo phir so jaana.
She signalled him to feed her.
K - main khilao?
She nodded cutely.
K - hmm , take this.
He said while forwarding a spoon to her.
She took that happily.
K - kitna pyaara hai na yeh !
He said looking towards their fast asleep puppy.
K - iska naam kya rakhe hum ?
Monami acted like thinking.
K - acha , suno maine kuch names shortlist kiye hai , leo , bruno , aron , isme se mera favourite toh aron hai , tum btao kya rakhe ?
Monami made a cross using her fingers.
K - huh , koi naam pasand nhi aaya ?
She shook her head in no.
She then took a notepad and wrote leo is my favourite.
K - alright then , done ! Leo hi rakhte hai.
Saying this , they ruffled Leo's hair.
Playing with the puppy they enjoyed their morning.
In the mess area ,
At 12 am
Karan was sitting there , lost in his thoughts.
' tumhare kitne packs hai ? aap flirt kar rhi hai ? Sorry !? Chaar hai , i am working for six '
'tumhe pta hai tum kaise ho , neuroendocrine cancer ki tarah. Deceitful. Bahar se kuch aur aur andar se kuch aur. '
' uss dinn ke liye thank you ! Kis din ke liye ? Yes. Monami !? Yes , meri jaan . Sorry !? '
' mujhe toh kab ka ho gya , tumhe bhi ho gya na ? Excuse me !? '
' Karan shergill , i love you ! And i know ki tum bhi mujhse pyaar karte ho. '
' Pyaar me toh sirf freedom hota hai , jao azaad karti ho main tumhe apne pyaar se '
' pta hai Karan , ek time par main chahti thi ki tum mujhe aise hi kas ke , zorr se hug karo. '
' arré par tumhe aisa kyu lag rha hai ki main tumhare liye worried ho. Main apne liye worried ho , mujhe apni tension ho rhi hai. I mean agar terrorist yahi kahi hua toh , tum hi toh ho yahan ke best commando . Tumhare saath hi toh sabse zyada safe feel karungi na main. '
' i love you , khadoos shergill ! '
Karan closed his eyes to absorb those words.
He took a deep breath and hugged the phone to himself , letting his tears fall freely. Just then he felt two hands on his shoulder. He turned his face away and wiped his tears. Faizi and Sanju sat on either sides.
K - i miss her !
He spoke without even looking at them.
K - uski baate meri zindagi me jaan daalti hai . Mera dinn uski aawaz se shuru hota hai , aur ab , ab aisa lag rha hai ki maano kisi ne meri jaan hi le li ho. Har pal main marr rha ho , uske muh se mera naam , khadoos shergill sunane ke liye. Aur meri, meri chodo uske liye yeh sab kitna mushkil hoga , voh toh bechari apne emotions bhi nhi nikal paa rhi hai , bahut dard seh rhi hai , but she is not able to share it with me. Main kuch nhi kar paa rha , i am feeling useless.
He cried while looking at her photo.
He then realised he was talking to Sanju and Faizi. So without looking at them he stood up and was about to move.
F - please Karan ! Please , ek baar humari baat sun lo.
Sanju - sir ji , please keh rho hai , ek baar humari baat toh sun lijiye. Hum jante hai humne aapka dil dukhaya hai , aur hum iske lano bahut dukhi bhi hai.
F- galti ho gyi humse Karan . Galti nhi paap ho gya , aur hume bahut pachtava bhi hai. Hume maaf kardo.
Karan turned and looked at them.
K - tumne uska dil dukhaya hai , uspe bematlab ke aaroop lgaye hai . Bolne se phele ek baar bhi nhi socha tumne. Tumne uspe sawal uthaye , yaani mujh par bhi kai sawaal uthaye. Aise hi nhi main usse apni biwi bolata ho. Tumhe pta hai usne kya kaha , she said that she's not sure if she'll be able to love you guys the same way she did before.
Usne kahan uske ek anaath jaise feel hua , ek orphan jaise.
His voice broke.
K - tumhe khud apna bharosa jeetna hai , aur Monami ka jo bhi faisla hoga main uske saath ho.
With this he left from their quickly.
In the morning ,
The sun rays peeped in through the window , making Karan snuggle more into Monami. The puppy pulled the curtains and climbed the bed. He then started licking Karan's beard.
K - Monami , Monami !
Monami hummed in response.
K - isse bhuk lgi hai , tum doodh le aao na.
Monami pulled the puppy , kissed him and then slept again.
K - Monami ! Utho na.
She wakes up and sees leo licking Karan's face.
She smiled and went to get some food for him.
As she opened the door , she saw Sanju and Faizi standing there. She was about to close the door when they both held it.
F - Monami please.
Sanju - bas 5 minute , Monami !
Karan looked at this and held Monami's hand.
She looked at both of them and nodded her head. They entered in the room. Karan made Monami sit on the bed , and he himself sat besides her.
While Sanju and Faizi sat on their knees and held her hands.
F - hume maaf kardo Monami . Hume pta hai humari maafi , tumhare saath jo hua usme se kuch sudhaar nhi sakti. Par please hume maaf kardo. Chahe toh hume punishment bhi de do , hume maar lo , peet lo par please hume maaf kardo.
He said leaning towards her hands.
Monami looked at Karan ,
He caressed her hair and said
K - Monami , main tumhare saath ho , tum jo bhi decision logi , main tumhare saath rahunga.
Saying this , he kissed her forehead.
Sanju came and hugged Monami ,
Sanju - please keh rho hai Monami , hume maaf kardo. Humse bahut bdi galti ho gao.
She took a deep breath , looked at Karan and nodded. He was about to say something when she put her finger on his lips , indicating him a no.
She pulled out from the hug , making Faizi and Sanju look at her. She nodded.
Before they could react , Karan pulled Monami behind and stood between them.
K - bahut mushkil tha Monami ke liye yeh faisla lena , par usne tumhe doosra mauka diya hai. Ab voh pyaar aur bharosa tumhe khud jeetna hoga.
Faizi and Sanju took him and Monami in a bone crushing hug.
F - hum vaada karte hai , hum tumhe kabhi disappoint nhi karenge.
Monami smiled and nodded.
