POV: Nyle

“Lea, you ok?” I asked looking at my sister, who zoned out still picking the food with her spoon absentmindedly till not eating it.

She looked at me and nodded saying,

"Mmm? No, I’m alright, just zoned out, I kinda feel odd these days, I don’t know why. Maybe its just the exams, Yeah, it is the exams. Nothing to worry Nyle!” and left the table dumbing the uneaten flakes in the sink and leaving for school.

My mom looked at her worriedly, as if she know what’s wrong,

“What’s happening? Mom is everything alright with her?” I asked

“uh, I don’t know Nyle, as she said she must be worried about the exams! I’ll go prepare your lunch!” she said quickly getting up from the table

Something’s not right here, what is happening?

My dad! it’s been two whole days since I’ve seen him! No one’s talking to each other like usual, losing my appetiate.

The positive vibe is nowhere to be seen around the house.

I went to school, no ride from Max and Dave. Seems like I’m early. I spotted Aiden first, he was standing near our locker taking some books out of his locker, I went near him,

“Hey…” I said nearing him

“Hey Nyle! So early today?”

“yeah kind off,… where are others?” I asked

“No one’s here yet.. oh talk of the devil! Look who’s here…Wait actually who is he?” he asked looking at a far distance.

“Do you know who is he?” Aiden asked again,

I turned my gaze from them, “Why would I know who is he?” I said picking up books from my locker

“ok, lets ask her, you think its her boyfriend? May be just a friend or someone like a long last friend?”

“Dude, shut it… why do you care about it? And please stop gossiping” I said shutting my locker

“what? I’m not gossping, wait is it what girls do all the time?” he asked.

“Hey Nyle” I heard Orange call me,

Why should I greet her, its not like we were friends we are nothing for that matter. I stayed silent, not giving a shit to her.

Wait, shit, I forgot about the plan at all, the revenge plan, Fuck I should act

“Oh, hi Matty,.. sorry I was zoned out!” I said putting my books in my bag

She seemed relieved from my resoponse, and smiled, she opened her mouth to ask something, but thank god, Aiden beat her to it by asking,

“Who was that with just now?”

“That was my .. wait why do you wanna know?” she asked.

Though I’m not even point one percent interested in knowing who was she with just now, I had to stay for the sake of my plan. Because I fucking need to get revenge.
