"But she lost her eye sight..." the doctor said

What the hell, I lumped on the seat beside me. Lost her eyesight? I couldn't process his word

"It's temporary, She can get back it back, its about the matter of time!" he said looking down at me

"How?" I asked not looking up

"How what?"

"She just passed out, how can she loss her eyes?" I asked getting angry

"it's not an usual pass out, she have a phobia of Ice creams when she saw it too close the nerve to her brain got affected. Apparently it's her it connects to her eyes. So yeah, that's how!" he said so causally as if he had done it numerous time. I didn't respond to him so he turned to her family and said,

"She's asleep now, May wakeup anytime soon, just don't make her strain, she needs rest" and with that he left

"Please leave!" Gustie's voice rang in my ears. I didn't look up, it's obvious she is very much disappointed in me, 'Well me too' but, I won't leave until I know she's alright, and until she get back her eyesight I'm not going anywhere. The guilt will kill me alive if I leave now. I can live with any feeling but Guilt is not the one. So I will stay here no matter what I feel, no matter what happens. I don't care what my friends think about me and what her parents think about me. Its my mistake I'll be responsible

'But what about Lea?' my mind exclaimed. She got my parents so no worries. Nothing will make me leave here not even her brother's endless punches and the pain it caused and the swallowed lips

I will not leave!!! I decided and ran hand through my hair. I'm a strong man who did a strong and big mistake in my life. I can't break down now. I have to stay strong. The fact the It's just sight loss and She will get it back. She'll be able to see again were the only thing making me breathe.

"She's awake mam you can go see her, one by one" The nurse said to Orange's mom

I quickly went in front of the door before anyone could open it. I turned to Orange's parents,

"Please, Let me go in first. I swear I won't do anything. I swear Please!" I said intertwining my fingers together in front of them. Though I didn't cry

"No" came the immediate reply from her brother

I looked at him and then back at her parents eyes begging them. After few minutes of silent Oranges mom gave a slight nod. I didn't wasted any second, quickly opened the door and entering in.

"Mom, Why.. Don't let him in.. I swear.." I heard her Orange's brother say to his mom before I closed the door behind me.

POV: Matty

Have you ever felt like drinking the darkness??? Well currently I fell like drinking it and also swimming in the same, it's all dark around me... No light not even an ounce of light.

Where am I??? I don't remember where I am and why am I here I tried to remember but my head hurted like b*** so I stopped, I tried to move my hands or at least my fingers for that matter, I feel like I'm moving it but why can't I see them? My lips were dry I couldn't form any words, it's like a waterless dessert. I slowly tried to part my lips and form any kind of words but none came, Fuck I hate this feeling...

I didn't give up though I kept trying to part my lips and finally it parted. Now next job, I tried to form words from throat.. after what felt like an eternity I gave a sound which sounded like a whimper to my own ears.
