18. overcome my fear

Emma goes inside*

Louis: the meeting is over? 

Emma: it is indeed. 

*Louis looks at the entrance and Harry is nowhere to be seen*

Louis: where is Harry? 

Emma smiles: he left.

Louis: what do you mean he left? What did you tell him?

Emma: to leave.

Louis: WHAT? 

Emma: yes… he's not good for you! He'll kill you

*Louis glares at her shaking his head*

Louis: he's my husband! WHY DO YOU WANT TO TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME? WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO YOU?

*Louis sprints towards the door and when he opens Harry was just trying to knock. He looks at him in relief, he studies Harry, his stressed face. His chest going up and down, Harry's red eyes. And he jumps in Harry's arms*

Louis: you didn't leave!

*Harry touches his hair pressing him closer and he kisses his head his lips remaining pressed on his hair. He closes his eyes and inhales his smell*

Louis: talk to me! Babe?

*Louis backs off without unwrapping his arms around Harry*

Harry: You're the only one that can tell me what to do

*Louis smiles touching his nose to his nose*

Louis: You're precious. 

*Harry pouts and Louis kisses him*

Louis: what happened out there?

*Harry looks down*

Harry: she said-

Emma: that I saw him cheating on you!

*Louis frowns and looks at Emma*

Louis: what's your problem? Really? What do you want? Let him talk! If I wanted to hear you I would've asked you! Babe talk!

Harry: she said that if I love you I'll leave you because I'm gonna kill you during one of my shocks… and I said no and she said she'll tell you I cheated on you… which is also not true. But she said that you'll believe her so she told me to leave. I'm so sorry.

*Louis touches his cheek*

Louis: why are you sorry?

Harry: I'm ruining your relationship with your sister… I'm so sorry. I-I'm sorry

Louis: nonono look at me. Look!

*Harry looks into his eyes*

Louis: You're not ruining anything. If you search for someone to blame, blame my sister. I believe you, I believe you because you're my husband. She overstepped in a place no one enters. This is between us. If I wouldn't want to be with you I wouldn't be with you. If I would think you would kill me during one of the shocks I'd tell you but trust me right now I'm more scared about you hurting yourself than hurting me. I love you, Harry 

Harry smiles sadly: I love you more

*Louis turns to Emma*

Louis: why?

Emma: because I care about you and being with a man that shot himself is not healthy 

Louis: so his mum talked to you. Look at me! His dad shot him and I don't even have to explain it to you! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TELL MY MAN TO LEAVE AWAY FROM ME! It's not your business, Emma! It's not your life. I have fears too! Do you remember when you played dumb and fell off the balcony? Do you remember that! I am not perfect! No one is.
