Background: Paul Strickland, from Chicago goes to Austin, Texas leaving his friends and Family. He leaves Firehouse 51 and goes to Firehouse 126. Which makes Firehouse 51 sad and Firehouse 126 happy. One day Paul Strickland has to make a choice, which one will he choose 51 or 126. His first real family or his second family. This happens after the bomb at Firehouse 126 and a few years after Leslie Shay dies. Gabby and Matt never get married.

POV: Paul Strickland

Im off my shift as a firefighter when two people came up to me.

Hello Paul Strickland, can we talk? asked the older one

Sure I have time. I said

Im T.K Strand and this Captain Owen Strand. said T.K the younger one

We would like to come out to Austin, Texas and become a part of Firehouse 126. said Owen

I will have to think about it. I said

You will get a bonus if you come out. said Owen

I have to talk to my boss and tell him that Im moving. So it will be a week maybe before I can come to Austin, but I would love to be at Firehouse 126. I said

Okay, we will see you soon, Good-Bye Paul Strickland, nice to meet. said Owen

Yes to meet you guys too. I said and walked off

The next day I have a shift so I go into Firehouse 51. Once I get there I go right to Lieutenant Caseys office and knock on the door.

Hey Lieutenant, can we talk? I asked

Sure what is it, Strickland? asked Casey

I got asked by a Captain Stand to move to Austin, Texas Firehouse 126. I said

Why are you telling me this? asked Casey

I want to go. I said

Okay, we can get the paperwork in, but we are going to have a going away party. said Casey
