Nomzamo's POV

I stare at my reflection in the mirror I really look good today for the past half an hour I have been preparing myself for the family meeting it's already the second week of July schools open in 7 days time

I am really nervous about what my parents and grandparents are going to say today I don't know what we are going to talk about but I'm honestly anxious and scared

Bandile and Enzo are back so they are back to annoy me it's been two days and it already feels like months
A knock from the door pulls me out of my thoughts

'come in'

Nolwandle peeps through the door I'm wearing a long below the knees black dress with my sandals and a headwrap as a way of respect

Nolwandle:"you okay ?"

Me:"yeah is it time already ?"

Nolwandle:"yeah the elders just arrived "

Me:"okay I will be down in a second "

Nolwandle:"okay ungakhathazeki konke kuzolunga"

Nolwandle just chuckles at my statement and gives me an assuring smile

I follow her as she leaves the room the elders are Gogo ,Gogo nomafu, mom ,dad ,my uncle ,grandpa and nkosenye's dad with some man that looks like him

Me:"Sanbonani"

Elders:"yebo "

Nolwandle does the same and we sit on the opposite sofa where mom and dad are sitting I look at them

Gogo:"ntombazane yam "

Me:"yebo Gogo"

I silently look down and wipe my tears flowing my cheeks I'm a pretty sensitive person I get easily affected

I nod in between my tears

The meeting officially commences I sit silently looking at these men deciding my fate for me to marry that rude annoying jerk

I'm guessing nkululeko is nkosenye's dad because he is the one that just nods his head

Mom:"manje Gogo basinikezile usuku?"

Gogo nomafu:"sekukunina lokho niya Swazi iskhathi enisinikeziwe ukuthi singakanani "

Gogo:"manje Gogo kumele kuhlatshwe imbuzi Noma inkomo"

Gogo nomafu:"unesipho esibalulekile kakhhulu u nomzamo kuzoba izinkomo ezimbili eyabaphansi Kanye neyomndeni"

Dad:"siyabonga kakhhulu salukwazi "

Gogo nomafu:"Nomzamo mntanami lalela konke abaphansi abakutshela khona Mese udlulile umcimbi kumele nize kumina "
