Nomzamo's POV

I run downstairs and ma is kneeling next to Nkosenye I'm not sure how because last time I checked umithi nje !!!

I run towards them Nkosenye is rolling in pain twisting and turning his body I can tell it's becoming excessive but what confuses me is how exactly am I not In pain too because Normally it's the both of us

I rub my hands together like a magician going to perform a magic trick I'm not sure what I'm doing but there's this voice inside my head just yelling to me to touch him from the bottom of my heart

I'm not sure what that means but I'm hoping it will actually work I take my hands and place them on top of his mark one thing I've realised nkosenye's gift is greater than mine it's easily affected and too damn strong

He looks at me for the first time since he's been in pain and I see him calming down maybe this is what they mean when they said that my love can help us

I take my had in his and hold it tight at first I flinch because if the heat that's intensifying he looks at me with apologetic eyes it seems like the pain is dying down

I look at him deep in his eyes I know this is him fighting his demons I can't stop it but he can so me holding his hand is a form of me giving him strength he is going to need it

The heat starts burning my skin but no marks are forming on my skin it's just internally painful that I can say he looks weaker by the second and I take that time to actually pull away and place my hands on top of his mark like I was charging

Ma is silently watching us standing above the couch looking at us dealing with our demons I can feel eyes on us
I place my hands and I screech in pain at how bad it hurts but for him I just continue I can feel it's working

After minutes I remove my hands away from his fire mark and latch down on the floor my body feeling weaker by the second the my eyes become drowsy and the last thing I see is a man in a forest wearing ujazi wezangoma he has his back turned to me and he's chanting something in the fire Infront of him

I see two blurry figures next to him and then boom !! It's lights out

Narrated POV

Nosipho yelps down to check nomzamo's pulse she really looks scared and almost thought she is dead

Ma'ol comes rushing in the dining and stops at the sight Infront of him two people laying unconscious on the floor he looks at his mother who by now is in tears already

He gently takes nomzamo upstairs to her room after checking her pulse and later comes down to take his brother then they call Gogo nomafu

Nolwandle comes rushing inside the dlamini house with Khumalo following her
