Nomzamo's POV

People well not a lot of people just some of the important members who came for my lobola arrangements to support and be there for me along the way are busy in the yard

I'm in my room I just finished packing the last of my things in my second suitcase I know I have some clothes still lapha kwaDlamini but I still took almost everything well for now I'm only taking my clothes

I am still going to come visit them just not everyday like I do now because they paid lobola for me and I'm now their daughter what's left is umabo, umembeso, umbondo eyyyy there's many more things left to do

I feel like this is the it goodbye this is it now I look around at my childhood bedroom the place where I have known all my life the place I called home for the longest of time and right now I'm leaving that place

There's ton of stuff left for me honestly la kwa nkosi but I'm just going to ask ma to check for it later
Muzi is already waiting for me outside right now I'm going to kwaDlamini but just not forever I'm only coming back home February when it's umembeso

Luthando and naledi barge into the room and come and hug me both

Lee:"bayede nkosazana"

Nale:"we rubbing shoulders with the rich "

Lee:"kade ngangisho ukuthi wena uzosiyisa eblair etholl"

Me:"girlll even my mom wants to go there "

Nale:"I'm sure with the lobola money se can even go to Paris and come back then to Seychelles "

Me:"you guys are so nosy I know y'all just want to know how much it was "

Lee:"andddddd???"

They look at me nervously waiting for my response

Me:'im not going to tell you "

Nale:"hauuuu please maaa zammm zammmm"

I just laugh at naledi ,this girl though all because if money I now have a nick name asibongeee

Me:"thanks for the nickname naleeee but still no"

Lee:"wow!!"

They throw themselves on the bed and look up at the ceiling
Lee pats the spot next to her ooooh fuck it!!!
The dlaminis can wait

I sit up with them looking at the ceiling ,we sit and chat with them for the longest of time until we decide to say goodbye to the room holding almost half of our memories together

They help me with the suitcases and take them to the car while I pack the remaining stuff like toiletries my kicks and my heels are already at the dlaminis apparently Nkosenye fetched them yesterday and the other portraits I wanted

Mom and dad smile at me as I descend down the staircases wearing my lobola dress ngeke phindile really knows her thing shame I don't want to lie the girls are wearing attires with similar designs as me
