Finished Mouse Kdrama. The scene below had me crying like a baby. Like all other characters that I usually feel attached to, I got attached with the story and character of Jung Ba Reum. I could have hated him if he stayed as a psychopath but no, the scriptwriter and the whole production team had something else in their minds while writing this show.

Everything from the very beginning was already symbolic. They used the seven deadly sins in the beginning, showed the man's hate to the Almighty, and after that, they finally showed the tragic hero's fall and they released a very strong catharsis by creating a scene wherein Jung Ba Reum tells his young self that God had heard his prayer.

What made me love the drama was that, Jung Ba Reum was able to gain emotions and he felt pain. It allowed me to pity him, too when I learned that he was a mere lab rat who was being used by the higher ups. I don't hate him, I hate the people who placed surveillance to two children.

In my opinion, as a Roman Catholic watching the show, the Almighty pitied Jung Ba Reum and He wanted to save him despite him being a vicious sinner but for me, his soul was saved in the end. He gave a powerful hand and made him repent, and soon enough, he was in terrible pain. That's what writers like me call 'catharsis.'

To those who may disagree with me, remember Moses? He also killed someone and he repented. Those who come back to Him are His children. The Bible and this drama wanted to teach us that everyone of us are able to repent. God makes ways for us to be exactly who we are.

I am so happy to be able to watch this drama since it allowed me to see the other side of the coin and ask ourselves if we do have a right to judge the children of those inside prison. 🌟🙏
