Title: I Can Speak

Plot: A story about a grandmother who wanted to learn to speak and asked help from a young man to teach him English. At first, this story was just about a woman who wanted to learn that language until it began to raise awareness of Korean Comfort Women and all Comfort Women abused by the Japanese...

My Review: It's not something to be proud of, after all, but since this is a review that I will make, I'll still talk about my own country, Philippines, too. The story hit me so much as I can relate with the story definitely. Why? Like South Korea, I do hope that Japan will apologize to all the Filipino Comfort Women that they abused. The story 'I Can Speak' did raise that awareness. The story made me cry liters of tears as I listened to the speech of Na Ok Bun and the struggles that our ancestors had to go through in the past.

The history they raised was a difficult story but that history has to be kept remembered.

It was such a delight for me to see Park Min Jae (Lee Je Hoon) play as the young man who taught Na Ok Bun (Na Moon Hee) English Language. She faced the USA Court and testified against the Japanese.

The movie was also critically acclaimed and Na Moon Hee won many awards for her portrayal in this movie. I did not just kept on hearing Lee Je Hoon speak in English. As a fan, I feel very proud for him since he was able to work with a legendary woman.

As a fellow Asian, I want more people to see this amazing Korean Movie that talked about a painful WW2 history which made me cry and laugh at the same time.

With all the Kmovies that I have watched, I feel like this was the most overwhelming for me.♥
