I was up late last night trying to forget how I almost had a panic attack infront of Madden fucking Dufort. I Ubered back to the hotel and took a long bath to calm myself. I then spent hours sorting through all my notes and listening to my recordings. Cameron was extra excited to listen to all the 'hotties' voices and accents.
We even went the extra mile and translated all the things that were said in other languages. I blushed for half an hour when I learnt Madden was calling me darling. Cameron also went on a 30 minute rant about how Xanders British accent makes him ten times hotter, I of course agreed.
I made Cam wake up early once again today and she blessed my ears with beautiful profanities. "We don't have to be at the track until later today, why are you disrupting my sleep." I pull open the curtains, letting the bright Bahrain sun shine throughout our room. "Oh come on, we are in an amazing country. This is the only day we have to enjoy. Let's go out, I googled things to do in Bahrain last night and I found a beautiful museum and day market we can go to."
"So get your ass up, put on a cute outfit so we can eat breakfast and go." I say, digging in my suitcase to find shoes to match my dress. Cam gets out of bed and enters the bathroom. A few moments later the shower turns off and she walks out, brushing her hair. "I can't even take a hot shower, I walk out sweating more than when I went in."
"What would we do without air conditioning?" I say apply sunscreen to my face. "Well we are about to find out since you're dragging us into the heat at 9am." She dramatically adds, pulling on a skirt.
"Cameron I need a distraction, I'm so stressed about my article. Since Liam isn't with us, Vice is counting on me to write a good story for this weekend." I groan. "How many times must I tell you that you are an amazing journalist Lu, you're gonna write a great article I know it."
"Now that I look really cute, let's go and have some fun." Cameron says excitedly, grabbing my hand and pulling me out of our hotel.
