"You and me. Tomorrow." I tell Luna as we enter the elevator, three pizza boxes in hand. It's Monday and everyone decided to stay in tonight so Luna and I went to get pizza.
It's been a few days since our almost kiss in Elio's and neither of us have said anything about it. I'm kind off glad it didn't happen because I want to do things right with Luna and kissing before the first date isn't customary.
"Absolutely. But for what?" Luna questions, we walk the short distance from the elevator to Sofia and Tiago's room but before we enter I say. "Our date of course." I smile at Luna's shocked face. "What? You didn't think I forgot, did you?" Luna clears her throat. "I mean kind off."
"I would never forget. You are the reason I won that race. It just took some time for me to figure out the perfect date for you." I say. "And what's that?" Luna tilts her head. "That's a secret belle âme." I shake my head and push the door open.
"Finally! We were thinking you guys abandoned us." Jaiden grumbles and takes the boxes out of my hands. "Jaiden was acting like he was gonna die from starvation. What took you guys so long." Cameron asks, shifting over so Luna can sit beside her on the couch.
"We took the long way. It's a beautiful night." And by that I mean I was working up the courage to tell Luna I wanted to go on a date with her. It still took us walking into the elevator for me to realize I was running out of time.
I grab a slice of pizza and seat myself on the floor since Tia is pretty strict about eating on his bed. This room is still too small for us even though Sofia and Tia took the biggest room. "What game we playing tonight?" Sofia asks.
"Monopoly?" Jaiden pipes in. "Absolutely not. You're just a sore loser." I shake my head. So does everyone else. It seems nobody is in the mood for yelling tonight.
"Oh lets play Uno. Look at me, I am the god of Uno." Ren nods. "Okay I'll get it. " Tiago says and stands to retrieve it from his bag
"13, 14, 15, 16..." Cameron finishes counting and hands Ren the pile of sixteen cards. "You took all our cards." Jaiden laughs, pointing to the empty pick up pile. "Damn Renny, I thought you were good at this. " Tia snickers.
During the second round of our game Ren got knocked with all 4 pick up fours. Luna started then me and Cameron and of course Tia had to land the final blow.
"You guys are cheating, just wait. I am coming back for you'll." Ren threatens trying to organize the deck in his hands. "If you say so Renny." I muse, throwing my last card down. "Uno motherfuckers."
