The board on the window panes of Amore dall'Italia read,

"Now hiring part-time and full-time waiters/waitresses! More information at the cash counter."

Your eyebrows shot up in interest, and you immediately entered the restaurant and made your way to the cash counter where a tall brunet stood.

"Welcome!" he chorused cheerfully, "Seats for how many, ma'am?"

"Oh no, I came to ask about a full-time job,"

"Ah!" he exclaimed and then called someone else to hold down the counter. When a substitute arrived, he took you aside and told you the job description, pay, holidays, benefits, and whatever pertained to a job.

"And finally, you'll be interviewed by the manager," he said, "But don't worry, he's a cool guy. Even if you don't have any experience, if he finds you eager to work and learn, he's sure to give you a job!"

"Right, got it," you nodded, "What's your name, by the way?"

"I'm Antonio!" he grinned, "Why don't you take my number in case you want to reach out to me for questions?"

"Sure,"

He gave you his number, and the restaurant's business e-mail for further contact.

"Thank you so much, Antonio!" you smiled at him, "I'll send you my resumé today,"

"Perfect!"

---

You got the job.

Upon opening the doors of the restaurant, the smell of freshly baked pizza wafted to your nose. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt different, now that it was your new workplace.

"Hiya!" called Antonio from the cash register, and you went up to him, smiling.

"Good morning, Antonio," you greeted.

"Morning," he grinned, "It's your first day, how do you feel?"

"Excited and nervous,"

"Great," he stood up straight, "Come with me, I'll show you around,"

Just as soon as he said that, out came two nearly identical looking young men dressed in uniform from the kitchen, holding delicious looking food in their serving trays. They may have looked identical at first glance, but you immediately made out one great difference.

One was gentle and cheerful looking, while the other was serious and grim.

"Oh, there are your fellow waiters," remarked Antonio, first pointing at the grim man, "He's Lovino Vargas," then he pointed at the cheerful man, "And that's his younger brother, Feliciano Vargas. Both of them are Italian, which makes them the perfect workers here!

"Lovino is a little prickly sometimes, but he's a nice guy. And Feliciano is sweet and kind overall." Antonio continued, "Get along with them well!"

You nodded, mind in a partial daze over how handsome both of them were.

Antonio beckoned Feliciano as soon as he finished serving the dishes. He came over.

When he was close, you got to observe his in full detail. He had wavy brown hair parted in the middle, auburn coloured eyes, and fair skin. He was beautiful, someone straight out of a baroque painting.
