[It is nighttime in Surrey, we see an owl on the street sign "PRIVET DRIVE," and the camera pans to the street with identical-looking brown bricked houses. The owl flies away, and an elderly man with crimson robes and a long silvery white beard named Albus Dumbledore walks out of a forest near the street]

"Dumbles!" The Marauders shout, leaving dumbledor to shake his head. Hazel glares are the ground, knowing what night this is.

[He takes out his deluminator and activates it. Dumbledore zaps all the light out of the lampposts. He puts away the device, and a cat meows. Dumbledore looks down at the cat.]

"I WANT THAT!" Sirius shouts
"NO!" Remus shouts back, making Sirius pout.
"Sorry, boys, it's already mine," Ron says smugly, pulling it out of his pocket.
"Wait, is that Minnie?" James asks, looking at the cat.
"Mr. Potter, how many times have I told you not to call me that," McGonagall asks with a pointed look which James ignores.

Dumbledore: I should have known that you would be here...Professor McGonagall.

"I KNEW IT!" James shouts, proud of himself, which makes Hazel smile slightly.
"Wait, what are you two doing there in the night?" Lily questions
"Maybe if you kept quiet and watched you would figure it out," Regulus says, rolling his eyes.

[The cat silently looks at him, and the camera turns towards a wall. The cat's shadow turns into a woman with a tall hat. There are footsteps, and Minerva McGonagall is revealed.]
McGonagall: Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumors true, Albus?

That made all the students confused, and Hermione casts a glance at Hazel, "Wait, is it this night?" Hazel can only nod her head, too worried to say anything.

Dumbledore: I'm afraid so, Professor. The good and the bad
McGonagall: And the girl?
Dumbledore: Hagrid is bringing her.
McGonagall: Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?

The golden trio (Ron, Hazel, and Hermione) shouts, "I WOULD TRUST HAGRID WITH MY LIFE!"
Hazel whispers after, "Just not my secrets."
Everyone who hears laughs as Hagrid blushes.

Dumbledore: Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life.
[There is a motor sound, and the two professors look up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skids on the street and halts. A large man with shoulder-length black hair and a beard named Rubeus Hagrid takes off his goggles.]

"I want that! Please, can I have it?" Sirius jumps up and down
"NO!" Shouts Remus, Fleamont, and Euphemia all shout.
"I'll get you one," James whispers to Sirius.

Hagrid: Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall.
Dumbledore: No problems, I trust, Hagrid?
Hagrid: No, sir. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake her. There you go.
[Hagrid hands a baby wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore.]

Everyone starts to coo at the little baby, except most of the Slytherins, which causes Hazel to blush at the commotion.

McGonagall: Albus, do you really think it's safe leaving her with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are...

"Are you leaving a magical baby... with a bunch of muggles?" Molly asks calmly, which scares almost everyone.

Dumbledore: The only family she has.
[They stop outside a house which is 4 Privet Drive.]
McGonagall: This girl will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know her name.

"Famous for what exactly?" Peter asks, confused, but he gets no answer.

Dumbledore: Exactly. She's better off growing up away from all that. Until she is ready.
[Dumbledore places the baby on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffles; he is sobbing a little. He clears his throat.]

"You better not be doing what I think you are doing," Mia says, glaring over at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore: There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all.
[Hagrid nods. Dumbledore takes a letter and places it on the baby, who is now at the foot of the door.]
Dumbledore: Good luck...Hazel Potter.

Everyone is silent are they stare in shock.
"You. Left. My. Daughter. On. A. Doorstep. With. Just. A. Letter." James says angrily.
"Well- uh- I'm sure I put protective spells on her," Dumbledore says.
"THAT DOESN'T MATTER YOU LEFT OUR DAUGHTER OUT IN THE COLD ON A DOORSTEP!" Lily shouts.
"Wait, you said earlier that that's her only family; where are her parents? Or Remus and Sirius?" Alice says, which makes everyone think about it.
"Yeah? Where are we?" Remus asks.

[The baby has a lightning-bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. The camera slowly zooms towards the scar, which glows brightly, and it immediately flashes, transitioning to a stormy cloud sky. The film's title in metallic gold zooms out around the camera, and lightning flashes to brighten it up. Then, the lightning flashes engulf the screen, transitioning it to the present time.]

Most of the Slytherins gasp, knowing that's a cursed scar and they look at each other in concern.
