[Hazel and Ron walk through the forest, following the spiders]
Ron: Hazel, I don't like this... Hazel, I don't like this at all
"Oh man up why don't you," Sirius jokingly shouts
"I am plenty of a man, I just don't like spiders, or the dark forest," Ron replies
Hazel: Shush!
[They follow the spiders to a tunnel underneath a tree root]
Ron: Can we go back now?
"Please go back to the castle, you shouldn't be out right now," Lily says worried for her daughter and her daughter's friend
Hazel: Come on
[They follow the spiders into the tunnel; as they go, a slightly bigger spider descends behind them. The tunnel leads to a massive clearing; above them, numerous spiders, bigger than the ones they're following, watch silently. The spiders lead Hazel and Ron to a foreboding mound. The sound of branches breaking is heard.]
"This can't be good," A random 1st year student says quietly, which is heard by everyone due to the whole place being dead silent as they wait to see what happens.
Aragog: Who is it?
"Oh just great! The spider can talk!" Bellatrix yells out also not hugely a fan of what's happening
Hazel: [Slightly nervous but keeping calm] Don't panic
"That is the worst thing to say to someone who is obviously already panicking," Theo says wanting to smack the poor girl on the head for being an idiot sometimes
Aragog: [as Ron turns toward the mound again] Hagrid? Is that you?
Hazel: We are friends of Hagrid's
[Slowly, Aragog emerges from the mound to meet with his visitors]
Next thing anyone hears is a thump, as Sirius has passed out on the floor due to the size of the spider being close to the two children. James has paled as he wasn't expecting the size of a mountain of a spider to emerge. Screaming is then heard from the people who are afraid of spiders. Hagrid is smiling fondly at his friend.
Hazel: And you... you're... you're Aragog, aren't you?
"Please stop talking to... that and please just get out of there!" Fred shouts, as he is worried for Hazel and his brother.
Aragog: Yes. Hagrid has never sent men into our hollow before
"And for good reason," Ron mutters
Hazel: He's in trouble. Up at the school there have been attacks. [Ron nervously looks around at numerous spiders scuttling around] They think it's Hagrid. They think he opened the Chamber of Secrets, like before.
Some students send glares over to Hagrid, truly believing that he has opened it
Aragog: That's a lie! Hagrid never opened the Chamber of Secrets
Hazel: Then you're not the monster?
Aragog: No. The monster was born in the castle. I came to Hagrid from a distant land, in the pocket of a traveler.
"Born inside the castle?" Remus mutters. He, Lily, and the Ravenclaws were currently trying to figure out what it might be
Ron: [whispering nervously while tugging on Hazel's sleeve] Hazel...
Hazel: [glances at him] Shush
"Don't tell me to shush! I'm trying to save our lives!" Ron shouts out jokingly
"Well did I know that at the time?! NO!" Hazel shouts back with a smile
Hazel: [Turns to Aragog again] But if you're not the monster, then what did kill that girl fifty years ago?
Aragog: We do not speak of it. It is an ancient creature we spiders fear above all others.
