As they were heading back to the court, (Y/n) was considering if she should talk to her brothers about the fight earlier, "Tsumu! Samu!" but mid-sentence, she stopped. She couldn't have pretended nothing happened because both of them were already looking at her. "What is it, nee-san?"

Racking her brain once again, she said "I believe in you guys!" suddenly and it shocked all three of them, especially the twins. "Hey! Miya twins! Hurry up!" Aran shouted for them and they immediately headed to the court.

"I'll do it for you, nee-san!" both of them thought, now extra determined and motivated to win.

On with Chapter 16:

3RD PERSON POV

Back to the match with now heightened spirits, Kageyama took the volleyball and went to the serving line with the beatings of the taiko drums going on behind him. The whistle of the referee could barely be heard over the music, but Kageyama heard it and threw the ball up before doing a jump serve.

Osamu received it and passed it to Akagi, who passed it to Aran. Being the Ace that he is, Aran spiked the ball over the 3 blockers and scored a point for the team, making the scores now 22-21 with Inarizaki in the lead.

"Nice serve!"

They cheered when it was Aran's turn to serve. He too threw the ball up and sent a powerful jump serve towards Karasuno's side.

"What a monstrous serve! Getting the ball into the air was all they could do." the announcer said as Tanaka received the serve but it bounced off of his arms forcefully.

They had no choice but to get Hinata to set the ball to Asahi who also faced 3 blockers in front of him. He pulled his arm back, seeming as if he was about to send a hard spike, but instead it became- "A feint?!" (Y/n) was at a disbelief when she witnessed that happen. 'What the hell?!' the thought was shared with her entire team.

Her reaction turned into confusion when she saw that Asahi had an apologetic look on his face.

Moving on to the next rally, it was Hinata's turn to serve. He looked excited to be the one starting the rally until it got announced that he would be subbed out with this teammate #12 - Yamaguchi. The (h/c-ette) looked through her notes to see she didn't have much information on him either, except that he was a pinch server.

Reaching the serving line, Inarizaki's supporters have already started jeering at the male and he became stiff. Despite being on the opposite team, (Y/n) couldn't help but to worry about him. 'The booing must have gotten to him already...' she thought.

"Tadashi!" Amongst the noise in the gym, she heard someone shout and looked to where it came from. "Is he holding a plastic bag?" she said when she sees a man with long-ish hair and an orange haori - most likely to be someone from Karasuno's side. "But what is he doing with the plastic bag?" she wondered.

As she did, Karasuno cheered when they had gotten a service ace pass Aran thanks to Yamaguchi.

"Service Ace!"

"Relief server Yamaguchi Tadashi is living up to his title!"

"Whoa, they put one over on us!" Atsumu said out loud without realizing that it could have affected the already dejected Aran until Ginjima scolded him.

"One more time!"

Yamaguchi sent another serve but Aran managed to receive it this time. He sent it to Atsumu and Omimi spiked the ball over. Yamaguchi managed to save it but it wasn't clean, hence making Tanaka run for the ball, only for it to bounce off the border and Tanaka hit the border instead.
