Recap:

Riseki took a deep breath before serving the ball across the court.

"Well, Riseki definitely got the ball into the court." the announcer said when the first year didn't do a flashy serve like his teammates have been doing.

Asahi received the ball easily and passed it to Kageyama, who sent a quick to HInata. Riseki received the spike but it was sent to out of the court instead. Karasuno cheered for the play before getting interrupted by Inarizaki's cheer crew jeers.

"What the hell was that serve?!"

"Why are you even here?!"

"No one asked you to just give them the ball!"

Riseki went back to the substitution block and collected his card from Suna. His head was hung low the entire time he went back to the back of the court. When he walk past the benches, (Y/n) stood up and stopped him. She patted him on the back, "You did your best." before letting him continue his way.

On with Chapter 19:

3RD PERSON POV

When it was Kageyama's turn to serve, he didn't hesitate to send a strong serve across the court the moment the whistle was blown. People watching from either the benches or spectator seats were tense at the play. The serve was so fast and forceful that the moment it hit the court, the entire gym was silent for a second before cheering.

"A no-touch ace! That speed! That direction!"

"No one was gonna be able to touch that one."

Inarizaki's coach stood up and called for a timeout, which shocked the manager beside him who hurried to pick up the tray of bottles and stand up from the bench.

"Inarizaki High is calling their first timeout. But wow, both sides have some really powerful serves."

"Both schools have a variety of attacks that are very powerful. If they don't get aggressive with their serves and stop the other team's quicks, the other side will definitely get a point."

The coaches also got up from the bench to let the players rest on it. They collected their respective water bottles and drank while listening to what Norimune had to say.

"Just keep pressing the attack like you have been. Don't falter on receiving, either." he said and seconds later, the referee blew the whistle again to signal the end of timeout.

"Will Kageyama's serves turn the tables around for Karasuno?"

Osamu managed to receive the next serve, but it was too strong and it bounced out of the court. The next serve though, Ginjima successfully served it and passed it over to Atsumu.

Aran ran up to the net and spiked the ball onto their court, but unfortunately it had landed outside of the court.

'Oh no, Aran is getting annoyed.' (Y/n) started to panic. It wasn't that obvious, but she could tell that the pressure was getting to the Ace.

Kageyama sent another serve and it was successfully received again, but it was heading back to Karasuno's side.

Nishinoya did an overhead pass to Kageyama and HInata ran up to the net. Osamu and Omimi were barely able to block the shot which then headed towards Atsumu instead who was waiting at the back.
