Y/ns pov
I laid in the blanket fort alone watching stranger things on Netflix while I waited for beth and lix to arrive. I couldn't wait to see them . they were like family. Even if they were only gone for three days I missed them.
Suddenly I heard a car park up outside, I closed my laptop and jumped up then running down the stairs ri the front door. I opened it , and there they stood. I threw my arms around the two
" hey bestie" said beth as they both hugged me back
" hey guys , I've missed you so much. You missed alot of shit when you were gone " I pulled away
" like?" Asked felix
" well..." I smiled " yknow aidan?"
" yeah?" Bethany furrowed her brows
" he asked me out, at the top of the Eiffel Tower " I bit my lip in excitement, their jaws dropped
" that's so romantic!" Felix squealed " I want a girl, or a guy to ask me out there!"
" yeah, in jelous " said beth with a slight pout on her lips
" yeah, the others recorded the whole thing aswell, they sent it to me last night " I smiled " now cmon, aidans making lunch"
We all piled into the house then walked into the dining room
" look whose back!" I said giddily
The others waved and greeted them
" y/n" said aidan " you dont mind helping with the cooking do you?"
" no, of course not. What are we making?" I asked
" Asian noodle bowl with Ginger peanut dressing, its veagan and trust me. Its fantastic " he grabbed my hand and pulled me into the cooking area of the kitchen
" alright, I believe you" I chuckled
He brought out the necessary ingredients and some chopping boards
" so" he started " I've got some fresh vegetables and protein, we are gonna need to chop those up, ok? So.. you get these , and I'll get these " he sectioned off the different kind of foods and grabbed a large knife " be careful , dont hurt yourself "
" wasnt planning on it" I took it from his hands and began chopping " I might not know alot, but I know food."
" might not know alot my ass" he scoffed jokingly
" well, I know alot. But I know food more than those things, happy?" I rolled my eyes then returned back to cutting the food " finished "
" good, now" he pulled out some ready prepared rice noodles he'd left to cool on the side " can you put all that in there and whisk it together while I make the dressing?"
" of course" he placed the bowl down infront of me and I began scraping what was on the chopping boards into it
" you're a angel" he kissed my temple then got back to what he was doing
I whipped out a whisk and began mixing it all together quickly and carefully making sure none of it spilt over the edges of the bowl
I looked over to aidan, he was already half done with the dressing
" y/n" lix walked over to me
" felix " I sighed at his whiny tone
" we need to go shopping tommorow, we ran out of biscuits and we ran out of like, every drink in the fridge " he replied
" oh shit" I said " yeah, you me and beth can go to the supermarket first thing tommorow, alright?"
" yeah" he nodded then going back to beth who was happily talking to david
" I've finnished with the dressing" Aidan smiled " may I?"
I handed him the bowl of mixed food , he quickly re heated it ever so slightly then he put it all on different plates and drizzle the dressing over it
" that smells delicious " I admitted
" and it tastes even better , I assure you" he handed me my plate and a fork then handed everyone else theirs . They all dug in instantly
I began eating and my mind was blown. This was amazing!
" oh my god!" I exclaimed as he walked back over
" you like it?" He asked
" I love it" I smiled
" you're so adorable " he took the plate out of my hands and put it on the counter " come here " he picked me up so my legs where around his waist and kissed me "you're the best " we kissed once more then I jumped down so I could finnish eating my meal
" did you hear what me and lix where talking about?" I asked him
" no, what happened?"
" we're running out of food and drinks, so we are gonna go shopping first thing in the morning " I replied "so no sleeping in"
" oh cmon " he groaned " we never get to spend hours cuddling"
" after that we can spend the rest of the day cuddling if you would like?" I suggested
" uhm. Yes"
I chuckled " cmon, lets go sit down"
I held his hand and lead us both over to the table where we all sat eating our food, or in ritu's case, filming a tiktok.
" this food is so good " Emmy complimented
" thanks " Aidan smiled with a simple nod
We all went back to our food, taking in every delicious bite and savouring it like our lives depended on it.
After a while I finnished
" guys" I piped up " no one come into the upstairs bathroom. I'm gonna go shower"
" alright " Robert gave me a thumbs up
I walked away then up the stairs to the bathroom next to my bedroom , I quickly unchanged, locked the door and jumped into the shower
Warm water ran down my body soothingly as I brain stormed what other fun things we could all do for their holiday
