I laid awake in bed, it was morning, everyone was leaving in a matter of hours.
Aidan appeared to be asleep , it was currently eleven thirty four , we were gonna get up at twelve so we could have enough time to pack his stuff, blankets, clothes , trinkets, etc.
I shifted in an attempt to get comfortable, the way aidan was holding me wasnt the best .
Suddenly I heard him groan but not wake up, I wanted him to wake up, I wanted to cling onto him for as long as possible, God what was this feeling!
His adorable face smushed against the pillows , cooper laid at our feet . It was all perfect, apart from the fact I wanted as much attention as I could drain before he leaves for months.
I leant in and kissed all around his face making him groan sleepily once more
" hey beautiful " he said happily in his ever so slightly deeper morning voice " how are you?"
I didn't reply, instead latching onto his torso comfortably and burying my face in the crook of his neck
" you ok?" He asked gently then rubbing circles in my back
" I want cuddles" i said sleepily
" bubs, I love your clingy side , its adorable, but you couldn't have done this yesterday?" He asked , I stayed silent " its 11:37 .... yknow what ." he sat up , I pulled him back down " baby, I'm gonna go make us some coffee to start off the day , we can cuddle on the couch "
I simply shook my head , he sighed and wrapped my legs around his waist then stood up
" you're like a koala" he chuckled as I buried my face in the crook of his neck and cooper followed after us
We eventually made it to the kitchen
" can you get down now?" He requested
I shook my head " no."
He sat me down on the kitchen counter and pryed my arms away from him , he grabbed some stuff from a cupboard below me then walked over to the coffee machine, completely ignoring my attempts to latch back onto him.
He began boiling the water and grabbed two mugs from the cupboard . I jumped down from the counter and walked back over this time hugging him from behind , he turned to face me
" c'mere bubs " his arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer so my face was buried in his chest " how are you feeling?"
" not great " I replied honestly, still clinging onto him tightly . Suddenly the coffee machine pinged " waters ready " I pulled away and crossed my arm while he made some coffee for the both of us
" a cinnamon latte for my princess " he handed it to me with a smile " and a regular coffee for myself "
" my favourite, you remembered?" I asked
" of course, now cmon let's go to the living room"
He grabbed my spare hand and led me through to the large room and we sat down on the sofa
I scooted closer to him while still carefully holding the mug in my hand
He threw a thick blanket over the both of us and wrapped an arm around my shoulder so I could rest my head on his
" we need to start packing your stuff in twelve minutes " I sighed " why did this have to go by so quickly ?"
" I don't know" he replied " its unfair , yes , but, this is the best holiday I've ever been on " he planted a kiss on my temple "cmon, let's finnish these drinks before they get cold"
I downed mine. whereas he took time drinking his , relishing in the small moments we had being couply together today
He looked at me then pecked my cheek
" you're perfect " he smiled , my cheeks went a rosy pink colour "you're pretty, you're smart, you're strong. You are perfect "
I gave him a weak smile in return " hey aidan? " he hummed in response " promise me this is forever, like, no matter how long distance we are, no cheating, no breaking up because of other men or woman. None of that."
" of course" he replied " pinky promise"
He held out his pinky and I connected mine
" thanks" I pulled my hand away
" no problem bubs" his smile faded as he looked at the clock "we need to start packing " he sighed in disappointment
I checked " oh, yeah " I groaned "cmon, let's go"
