Me and aidan were on our way to my house so we could see cooper, aidan told me he was going go get me another dog for Christmas so he had company. Which I said was unnecessary , but he insisted on the matter.
I opened the front door of my house and we both walked in , beth and lix who were in the kitchen looked up and waved , we waved back
" cmon baby, let's find him"
We went upstairs to my bedroom
" the blanket fort is still here " aidan smiled
" yeah, its were I sleep when I really miss you" I said sheepishly rubbing my neck
" be careful, you'll rub off your concealer " he smirked
" oh hush "
Suddenly the dog came zooming through, he jumped at aidan
" hey buddy!" Aidna knelt down and fussed him " you've gotten bigger haven't you "
I sat on the ground beside them , joining in and fussing the dog .
Aidan picked him up
" I've got what I came for, now I'm going home. Bye y/n" he said jokingly , I laughed
" rude" I chuckled
Aidan placed the dog down and lead me into the blanket fort , it had tissues and tissue boxes in it which we had to move as we sat down
" didn't realise I made you cry this much when I left " said aidan, guilt was on his face
" I was always gonna cry about that. Whether we were dating or not, so dont beat yourself up over it " I said gently as cooper clambered into the fort with us both
" I missed it in here" aidan smiled " so comfy" he outstretched his arms , inviting me in for a hug . I accepted , obviously " and it's a perfect place to just hold you" he whispered into my hair
" and to think, none of this would be happening if I had actually turned down the opportunity to be in TUA" I said " crazy how one variable could change your life forever " I pulled out of the hug
" yeah" he nodded in agreement "I'm really glad you didn't, because you have made me the happiest man alive since the moment we first met , and I cant wait to spend all of my life with you bubs"
I smiled widely " I cant wait either "
His lip began to wobble slightly "I know I'm always the less likely to break down in this relationship" he said weakly " but .... " tears slipped down his face " if you cant tell, I love physical affection. And I'm glad we can face time so I can see your gorgeous self. But I want to kiss you so bad, just cup your cheeks and kiss you all over . I wanna make you laugh as much as possible, that's why i tickle you so much, something about seeing you all giggly and squirmy warms my heart . " he smiled " and the soft innocence of cuddling, its just...perfect and I miss doing it with you"
" aww baby, come here"
He hugged me tightly while crying quietly into the crook of my neck
" I'm sorry" he sobbed " your mental health is worse than mine I shouldn't do this infront of you"
" no its ok" I rubbed his back "everyone needs a cry sometimes"
" thank you baby "
He latched onto me tighter than ever , allowing himself to let his emotions spill
I flopped down sideways so we were laying down
" aidan" I spoke , he looked up at me . Tears covering his face " I love you"
" I love you more" he buried his face into my chest " dont argue with me on that."
I chuckled and played with his hair, he hummed in content
" tired?" I asked
" mhm" he nodded " is it ok if I hey some sleep?"
" of course it is" I smiled gently
He wrapped his arms around me as his breathing steadied and he began lightly snoring
" night Aidan " I smiled and continued brushing his hair with my fingers
