Today was finnaly the day! I was sat on the plane anxiously waiting for the ride to be over.
Did I look ok? Had my makeup smudge?
I hadnt seen Aidan in what felt like forever now, the reality was two weeks and a couple days. But for us , it felt like eternity.
I straighted my posture as a boy my age sat beside me . I made sure my face was dead panned and I looked forward .
" hey, you must be y/n Thompson right" he asked then looking at my outfit " didnt realise you were goth but....ok I guess"

" the outfit I'm currently wearing isnt goth, its simply black and white. You're just too simple minded to realise it." I sighed "now, what do you want?"
" uhm.. your snap?" He smirked
" If you know my name you probably know my socials , and if you know ny socials you know I have a boyfriend. Plus , i dont have time for snapchat, the filters are tacky and you cant go back through messages. Its shit" I replied
" well , you could download it for me , you guys are long distance right " he said smugly
" right. Your nose is about to be a long distance away from your face " I glared at him
" and how are you going to do tha--"
I whipped out a pocket knife "don't test me. Leave."
He got up and walked away
" men nowadays, am I right?" A girl shook her head " hi, I'm Kaleigh " we shook hands
" y/n" I smiled gently
" so, the flight is a few hours away from ending. Care for a game of uno?" She pulled out the box
" anything's better than silence "

We had been playing for a few hours now, I had discovered she lived on the same street as my parents , she is my age and we have a shit ton in common
We ended up exchanging numbers within fifteen minutes of meeting, that says alot.

" ha! I won again!" She exclaimed
Suddenly the pilot began talking over the speakers , we were landing .
" finnaly " I smiled " I cant wait to see aidan again "
" you two seem to be quite the pair " she said gently " I hope your relationship goes places "
" same here" I replied " what about you? Do you have a significant other?"
" no , dating has never been my thing " she shrugged
The plane began coming closer to the ground, I buzzed with excitement
I looked out the window, the ground was a couple seconds away
" I'm so excited! " I exclaimed happily
" as you should be, aidan seems like quite the catch" she laughed
The plane made contact with the ground, soon coming to a stop
" all passengers may grab their luggage " said the pilot
I grabbed my one suitcase that was on the flight and put my backpack on my back
" right, I better get going. I need to grab my shit. Nice meeting you y/n" Kaleigh gave me a small hug
" I'll text you soon" I smiled
She walked off to grab her stuff and everyone stood up , the doors had opened.
I took a deep anxious breathe and ruffled my hair slightly to make sure it hadnt flattened to much.
Before I could even tell what was happening I was walking off of the plane . People were running back to their families or walking away alone to retrieve their luggage .
I looked around and my eyes soon fell on aidan , I sprinted over and threw myself at him . Causing me to drop my suitcase at our feet as he caught me and spun me around
He put me down and we kissed then resting our foreheads on eachothers
" I've missed you" aidan smiled "are you ok after what happened?"
" yeah, police caught the culprit and no one died so...its all ok, felix is in hospital though. " I sighed
" atleast hes ok" aidan tucked a hair behind my ear and kissed me once more " now cmon, let's get the rest of your luggage. I already set up at your parents house since I arrived like three hours ago . "
" alright, cmon"
We held hands and walked to get the rest of my luggage
