Atsushis pov :
He looks at the messages .
"Oh they're from the orphanage"
"They don't seem to lie you very much "
It's been 30 minutes and Dazai has looked at every app on Atsushis phone .
So he decided to remove the case .
A few things fell out .
A note from kyoka telling him to have a good day , penny , plain paper and a dead flower .
"The flower - dead flower "
"It was really pretty so I put it in there and it died"
Dazai hands him his phone .
"Good night see you guys tomorrow ?"
Dazai and Chuuya leave .
Aktugawa gets in bed .
Atsushi just stays on the floor .
"Are you just gonna lay on the floor ?"
"Yeah I'm good here . If Dazai asked I was in the bed "
Aktugawa didn't argue .
Atsushi fell asleep quite quickly.
Next morning
Atsushis pov :
He woke up before Aktugawa.
It just turned 6:30 am .
He stood up and stretches .
He goes to his bag checking if Aktugawa was still asleep .
He takes out a pill and goes to the bathroom .
He locks the door .
He gets some water and takes it .
He goes to the bathroom and back to the room.
Aktugawa is sitting up on his phone .
"Morning "
"Shut up "
He sits back on the floor .
After a while they could hear chuuya and Dazai getting ready next door .
Aktugawa goes in the bathroom to change .
Atsushi quickly changes .
He stares at his stomach .
'why aren't I skinnier I do what all the models do ?'
He can hear Aktugawa so he just makes it looks like he was tucking his shirt in .
Soon after Dazai and Chuuya walk in .
"Morning you guys . Let's go get breakfast from downstairs "
They follow Dazai and Chuuya down .
They sit at a table right in the middle of dinning hall .
"Ok it's a buffet so you can go up and get stuff - not hungry Atsushi ?"
"No I don't like having breakfast"
"Ok "
The others go up and Atsushi sits on his phone .
He gets a message from kyoka .
- have you eaten breakfast yet ?
-yeah had it now x
- what you have ?
- apple x
-good I'll check in later x
The others come back with their food .
They chat about what's happening today .
"Ok we are talking to the police today . The latest murder was a few days ago so we get to look at the body still and the murder weaponds "
Atsushi is a little scared to why Dazai is excited about seeing a dead body .
It makes Atsushi shiver .
The others finish eating and they head out to the van .
"We are going to the Morg "
Atsushi looks out the window .
'ive never seen a dead body before '
They get their and head inside .
Dazai shows his badge and they let them through .
The body is inns room with a sheet over it .
A doctor come in .
"Hi you must be the ADA . I'm going to show you the body but I'm gonna warn you it isn't for the faint of heart "
Dazai gives Atsushi a look .
The doctor removes the sheet .
It's a girl her skin is almost white . Her ears are missing and she has a stab wound in her heart .
Atsushi stares .
"Scared young man you seem to be shaking ?"
"Oh no I'm just cold "
"Brave young man you are here"
He hands Atsushi a lolly pop.
"Thanks ?"
He looks a little closer.
"They said you have the murder weaponds ?"
"yes right here "
He picks up the knife and hands it to Dazai .
"Yeah this is the murder weapon . Thank you "
They leave and go back to the van .
Dazai turns around in his seat .
"Atsushi - you were such a brave eyoung man good job . What did he give you ?"
" A strawberry lolly "
"How sweet "
Atsushi pulls out his phone.
