Bright light entered your vision as you slowly opened your eyes after hours of keeping them close. The brightness slowly started to dim as you become adjusted to the light.
Where were you? The last thing you remembered was being carried by the mysterious guy before eventually falling asleep.
"Good to see that you're awake." Your head cocked to the chair next to you and widen your eyes at a slime that was sitting on it.
"Huh?" A talking slime.
"Are you still hungry? We cooked some really good food. I'd like to give you some before you go on your way."
You were speechless.. You honestly didn't know how to reply. It's like you forgot how to speak on the whole.
"Right.. You're must be too hungry to speak. I'll bring in your food so you'll have enou-"
"Where's the guy who saved me?" You question, making the slime softly smiled at your question. "I feel grateful that you're offering food, but I'd like to give my thanks to that guy before anything else." You continued.
"Well," the slime started. Before you knew it, the thing that was once a jelly-like ball, transformed into a handsome, young man. Long, pale, blue hair with golden eyes. You were totally mesmerized. "I'm the one who saved you.. I'm also the leader of the village you stepped in." He cheekily smiled.
"Oh... Wow.." You didn't know what else to say. He was such a pretty man and you weren't sure if this was something that'll have you going. "May I ask for your name?"
"My name is Rimuru Tempest. The leader of the Jura-Tempest Federation." He happily answered. "You know, I'm very curious as to why you were roaming around such a dangerous place. I couldn't sense any powers from you, so someone could've easily taken advantage of you if they wanted to." Rimuru questioned. "No offense." He quickly added.
"I am lucky, am I?" You sofly smile. "To tell you the truth, a storm destroyed almost half of my kingdom and I'm looking for a place to stay for both me and my people." You honestly spoke. "It's been hard throughout the week and all the village we went to had decline our offer we had in mind for them. Hence why I'm.. Here."
Rimuru nodded his head with folded arms in understanding. "Mmhm. I see." He stood up from his seat. "How about we talk more about this over some hot meal. I bet you're really hungry."
To be honest, you weren't all that hungry, but you couldn't decline an offer from a person who could possibly help you and your people with your living situation.
"Yes. I truly am. Thank you so much, Rimuru."
