"Lady Y/N." Elith called from outside your place. You hummed in acknowledgment, letting her know that she can enter. "Good morning, lady Y/N." The purple head greeted. "Today, you have your meeting with lord Rimuru."

"Yes, of course."

"I suppose you remembered right? You know what it's about?"

You nodded. "Of course." You flattened your blue dress as you spoke.

Elith watched silently as you paced around your room—looking around and picking stuff up, before placing them back down. She hummed. "Are you nervous, lady Y/N?"

"What? of course I'm not."

"Then why are you so.. fidgety?" The woman crossed her arms with cocked eyebrows. She was beginning to worry, but was still confused by your actions.

"I just—I..." You stopped yourself. You weren't sure if you wanted to tell her about your dream... nightmare. But you knew her and Zeldin have been with you ever since you told them about the cause of it from when you three were kids, so maybe now shouldn't be the time to dwell on if you should or should not tell her. "I.. Those nightmares are coming back. I don't know what to do."

"You mean the one with your mom and you being a..."

"Yeah." You shrugged. You then threw yourself on your bed and placed your hand on your head in distress. "I'm.. tired. I was hoping it'd end.. but–"

"Is it because if that Millim girl? Ever since she came, your nightmare started again." Elith theorized, a hatred tone lurking in her voice. "Should I take her out for you?"

"No, no, no." You quickly dismissed her idea. "I don't need you taking her down. And I don't think Millim is the reason." You silenced your mouth before speaking once more. "Perhaps... it means something? Maybe it's telling me something?"

"And what could it possibly be telling you?"

You shrugged. "I'm... not sure. I could be wrong, of course, but that can still be the case."

"Well," Elith breathed out. "Maybe this meeting with lord Rimuru can make you forget about your nightmare for awhile. I'll be with you, too, so if you feel uneasy, just look at me, alright?" You nodded your head.

"Thanks, Elith." You smiled.

"Y/N," Rimuru's golden eyes stared into your (Eye Color) ones as he guide you into the meeting room. Your eyes moved itself around the room and you noticed how tidy and clean the room was. It brought you a sense of comfort. "Please, take a seat."

Elith stood behind the chair in front of Rimuru. You quickly did as the blue head told and took the seat in front of him.

"Shall we get started then?"

"Of course."

"Well then." He began speaking. "Your people have successfully adapted to our home rather nicely. I was expecting more of storm than a summer day."

You chuckled at his statement. "It's the least they can do after your willingness to take us."

"But.." You was taken aback by his words. "I've been hearing some whispers about them asking about our wedding—wondering if we're even going to get married."

You furrowed your eyebrows and looked at Elith for confirmation. She just shrugged, just as confused as you.

"They probably were being careful around you, but my subordinates overheard and told me about it."

"What does this mean?"

Rimuru smiled. "I was going to say that your people didn't seem so upset about it. They just seemed curious."

"Huh?"

The slime laughed. "What I'm saying is this; there's no point in getting married when your people seemed to already trust us. So if you were uncomfortable about being married to a stranger from the start, then there's no worry."

You stayed silent for a moment before speaking, a smile now plastered on your face. "I was not uncomfortable at all, in fact.. I was kinda excited." You whispered the last part to yourself, but Rimuru was able to hear you.

"Well, in that case." He breath out. "We can still get married with the idea of me protecting you or vice versa."

"Hm.. I see, I see." You thought about it. "That means if I were to have your last name, other species would either be afraid of me or see me as a target–"

"And when I'm married to you, if others were to know that you're my wife, depending on how much power you have, they'll run away crying to their mummies."

"Right, right. Of course." You grinned. "Sounds like a great idea to me."

Rimuru clasped his hand together. "Good. Then when should we hold the wedding?"
