You couldn't been more than happy to speak with Rimuru and his subordinate.
After awhile, the blacksmiths and your workers came from their sleeping place to inform that they'll began working bright and early tomorrow morning.
"Thank you so much." You were happy that everything was about to be set in order. "I'll send some of my guards tomorrow, as well." Your workers and the blacksmiths only nodded their heads.
"Now that we gotten everything settle, should we get going?"
You shook your head yes at Rimuru's question.
As the crew made their way back to Tempest Federation, you noticed a large blue creature flying in the sky. It bothered you so you questioned it to the slime.
"Huh?" He peaked his head out the window and noticed more than one of those flying creatures. "What are those things?"
"And who send them?"
Elith eyebrows furrowed as she realized that those creatures were heading the same way they were going. "They're trying to attack us.." She began to panic and placed her hands on Rimuru and yourself. "I'll teleport you two first." And she did so before going back to bring the rest that was in the carriage.
"Why are they here, Rimuru?" It was probably stupid to asked, but you were afraid that they were here because of something Rimuru did that made them or the person who send these creatures angry.
"I.. I'm not sure." And that wasn't a lie. He was just as confused as she was. "Stay out of this, Y/N. Let us fight this ourselves."
Before you've even gotten the chance to complain, Rimuru ran towards the blue creatures, his people following behind.
"Lady Y/N, your orders?"
"I need you to go help them!" Zeldin gave a firm nod and announced to the other guards to follow him.
"I need everyone else to stay calm and find a safe place to hide." You started instructing the citizens of both yours and Rimuru's kingdom. Your elves was able to fly to a safe spot, while Rimuru's goblins was quick to run and hide.Your eyes faltered a little in sadness.
Last time you checked, you've never had anything that tried to take down your kingdom, why is it that it's happening with Rimuru? Causing the life's of all his people and yours. Is this the protection he promised you and your people? Will these creatures come to bother you guys ever so often? Will it be more then these.. flying blue things?
You turned back to face the group of fighters as the continued to protect the kingdom.
Out of nowhere, Elith appeared on the side of you. Her eyes were littered with fear as she stared at you before switching into one of relief. "Oh, I'm so happy you're safe, Y/N."
"What are you doing here? You should be helping them!" You scolded, but Elith couldn't care less.
She placed a hand on your shoulder to keep you quiet. "Lord Rimuru send me back here to keep an eye on you. He wants someone he trust to keep you protected."
"But everyone's fighting for their lives right now! I'm the least of your worries."
"If you die right now, who will rule this kingdom? Of course not me and definitely not Zeldin. Oh, and surely not lord Rimuru."
You sucked your teeth before letting a groan. "Whatever. Help me keep an eye on the people. We have to keep them protected—that's the most important."
The purple hair bobbed her head. "Of course, Lady Y/N."
