Rimuru guided you to his room with a soft smile.

"This is my room. I usually hold private meeting with people in here." He explained, which you smiled at. You moved your body to sit on the cushion like bed he soon offered you. "Now, as for the matter in hand," Rimuru moved himself next to you, "where should we start?"

You hummed in thought. "To get the easy stuff out of the way, I was thinking maybe we should have our marriage within a week from now."

Rimuru questioned you unsurely. "A week? Isn't that too soon?"

"Like I said, my people still don't know that this is a contract thing. They believe it is an arrange marriage. I'd like to have it more believable by making it happen as soon as possible." You then let out a sigh. "Ugh.. I really hate lying to the people of my kingdom, but if it means helping them, then it is what I gotta do."

"You really are a great queen, aren't you?" You were taken aback by what your future husband had said. "You work really hard to find a place for them to stay at, knowing there's a possibility of you not finding one," he couldn't help but chuckle at your shock expression, "you're a really great leader. I hope you're reminded of that everyday."

You face became flustered at the comment the shifter gave you. It was nice to be acknowledged by someone out of the kingdom who, not only had seen what you have done for yourself, but for your people as well.

"Well... I do try my best. As their queen, I must make everyone in the kingdom happy." You gave the blue head a tender smile.

Blush began to rise among the slime transformer face at the expression you gave him.

"Anyways," you continued with your previous conversation, "remember when you said that in order for you to marry me, I would have to be your subordinate?"

Rimuru shook his head. "Yes."

"I've decided that.... As your future wife.. I should at least help you around your village," you twiddle with your necklace. "And.. as the future king of the elf kingdom... You must also help my people... Got it?"

Rimuru sweat drop at the sudden switch in attitude. "Of course. I'll be a bad leader if I don't help everyone."

"Good," You let out a satisfied sigh, "glad to know I can trust you."
