I've been standing here for almost twenty minutes na, sumasakit na ang pantog ko dahil sa pagpipigil. Kung bakit ba naman kasi ang tagal ng babae na yun sa loob ng CR. Nakakainis talaga. Frustrated, I gave the door another knock.

"Wow, you're taking forever! Ano na? Tulog ka na dyan?!" I exclaimed. Absentmindedly, I scratched my eyebrows out of annoyance. It's incredibly irritating.

"Lumabas ka na dyan!" I shouted, but there was no response.

I knocked on the door once again, pero Ganon parin. Walang sumasagot kaya medyo nakaramdam ako ng pag-aalala. Mamaya kasi may nangyari na sa kanya sa loob. Kaya kumatok ulit ako at tinanong sya kung ayos lang sya kaso wala paring sumasagot. Concerned, I impulsively reached for the doorknob and tried to open it, only to realize that it was locked.

"Hey! Okay ka lang ba dyan?" Muling tanong ko ngunit tahimik lang.

Bumalik ako sa table namin ni Kate para sabihin sa kanya yung situation. And without hesitation, Kate approached the restroom door and knocked on it.

"Dungis?" she called out.

"Kai tawagin mo si manong baka kung ano na nangyari sa  kanya sa loob."

Naiismid akong sumunod kay Kate at tinawag na si manong, and he came over right away. I constantly find myself having trouble with that girl. It just makes me shake my head in disbelief.

"Biang?!" Tawag ni Manong.

But even the man became flustered when there was no response, so he took the key and opened the bathroom. When he opened it, there was no one inside.

Nagkatinginan kaming tatlo. Napangisi ako at napa'iling. Unbelievable!

"Pagamit ng banyo.." Sabi ko nalang saka ako pumasok sa toilet.

While I was peeing, I couldn't help but think about how foolish that woman was. My bladder was about to explode from holding my pee, then turns out, nakatakas na pala sya. Unbelievable! Paano kaya sya nagkasaya sa maliit na bintana yan? Napailing nalang ako.

After a fantastic time at the pub, Kate and I made our way home. As soon as I entered the door, I wasted no time and hopped into the shower, followed by a thorough teeth brushing session. Slipping into my cozy pajamas, and settled into my bed. With my book in hand, I began reading, and before I knew it, sleep overtook me, and I drifted off.

Several days passed by in a whirlwind of work. However, during my break, I decided to step outside and enjoy some fresh air. The operating room had been quite chaotic earlier, so this moment of tranquility was a welcome respite. As I stood by the side of the hospital.

Napansin ko si Kate sa di kalayuan na may kausap na isang babaeng nakasuot ng grey hoodie na damit na may print na care bears violet. Mukang seryoso silang nag'uusap. Lalapitan ko sana sila pero naisip ko na wag nalang, ayoko din kasi na makaistorbo sa kanila.

Nagsindi nalang ako ng isang stick ng cigarette saka humithit. Buti naman may friends na sya sa lugar na ito. Ako wala pa, mga fellow residents palang ang nakikilala ko kaso pagkausap ko naman sila ang topic puro trabaho. Nakakabored tuloy. Pag naman nagoopen ako ng bagong topic parang di naman sila interested. Hindi rin kasi ako magaling magkwento. Kaya minsan tumatahimik nalang ako.

As I made my way back to my resident team, engrossed in reviewing my patient's genogram, Dr. Bernardo approached me.

"Doc Anderson, can we talk?" he asked.
