💖 Kyuhyun- Super Junior 💖

I work in a coffee shop near the SM entertainment building headquarters in Seoul. It's literally just right across from it so I get to see sone of the famous idols like from the groups NCT, Red Velvet, aespa, EXO, Girls' Generation, SHINee and Super Junior. I recognise them all the time but I don't always say anything to them even through I'm fangirling inside. Super Junior's Kyuhyun comes in quite often when he's in the studio. He asked me out on a date but I said no. I'm 21 and he's 34 so there is quite an age difference between us. Girls' Generation are closer in age with him. He likes me as he told me but I'm holding back from going out with him. I know my parents wouldn't want me dating an older man but they would approve if he is a decent man which Kyuhyun is. He's very sweet, kind and polite and that's what in looking for in a man but I don't know if I should go out with him. I'll think about it. He's asked me out a few times and I do feel sorry for him that I've rejected him all those times. Maybe I won't next time. Kyuhyun comes in every now and then but he hasn't been in the last couple of weeks. I am working today in the coffee shop and for the next few days. I am busy working now serving people drinks and for takeaways too. Sooyoung from Girls' Generation has just come in and I said hi to her and she said hi back. I do say hi to idols when they come in for coffee or lunch. I go on my lunch break now and go outside for some fresh air. As I was stood outside, I see Kyuhyun walk my way. He didn't see me at first. "Kyuhyun" I say. "Hi, Katy. Sorry I didn't see you there" he said. "No it's okay. Don't worry" I smile. "So how are you? Sorry I haven't seen you for a while" Kyuhyun said. "Yeah I'm alright thank you. Been busy working hard" I say. "That's good. Me too" he said. So Kyuhyun and I talk for a few minutes outside. "So I know I've asked you this before but will you go out with me, Katy?" Kyuhyun said. I stop and hesitate for second before I answer. "Yes yes okay. I will go out with you on a date" I reply. Kyuhyun smiles at me and walks away. So I finally agreed to go out on a date with him. Not just because I feel sorry for him

The week after and Kyuhyun and I are going on our first date together. He is taking me out for dinner and I can't wait for that. I've actually been looking forward to our date but I should've said yes ages ago when Kyuhyun first asked me but I didn't. I don't why I said no. Maybe I was too nervous to say yes around him when he first asked me. I am excited about the date but also a little nervous too as usual for a first date. It's my first date in a while so that's why I'm feeling a bit nervous. It took me a while to choose out my outfit for the date but I've finally decided and I'm ready for my date now. I call a cab to take me to the restaurant as I don't like driving in the dark late. I arrive and Kyuhyun was waiting outside the restaurant for me by the door. "Hello" he said. "Hi" I say shyly. He looks at me and awkwardly pulls me in for a hug and we hug for a moment. Kyuhyun holds open the door for me like a gentleman and we walk into the table and get seated at our table. "So how are you, Katy?" he asks. "I'm good. Are you?" I reply. "Yes I am. Really very well" he replies. Drinks come first and we wait for our food to arrive not long after. Kyuhyun and I were just talking about things in general. He was telling me about idol life and things like that. "Honestly I don't know how you do it. The idol life. I wouldn't be able to" I say. "Trust me once you get used to it, it becomes part of your life and everything" he said. "You work very hard. You know that" I say. "I guess so but I miss being with the guys currently" Kyuhyun said. I smile. Soon our food comes and we tuck in. We don't really talk when we eat. We get another drink each after we ate. I was a little stuffed after my meal. "Are you okay?" Kyuhyun asks. "Yes I think I just ate a little too much. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed what I had" I reply. "Oh I do that sometimes. A little bit now" he laughs. I laugh back. We waited a little while before we move. Kyuhyun was a gentleman and paid for me. Awe how kind. I was offering to go halves with him but he refused. We walk out of the restaurant together and stood outside and waited for our rides to come. "Thank you. That was lovely, Kyuhyun" I say. "You're welcome. So glad I finally got to take you out" he smiles. "Yeah and I'm sorry for rejecting you so many times and not wanting to go out with you. I still feel so bad. I think I was worried what people would think of our age gap. I'm always worried about what people would think" I say. "Katy, don't worry. Loads of people date and are together who have age gaps. There are only 13 years between us. That's nothing. Things are normal and accepted these days" Kyuhyun said. "Yes I guess so. I'll stop worrying" I reply. "Yes do. It's not good for you to worry" he said. "I just don't want to ruin your career, Kyuhyun as I know how important it is to you" I say. "Katy, you are not ruining my career at all" he said. "I'm up for another date if you are" I say. "Of course I am. I was just going to say" Kyuhyun said. So we arranged to go on another date. Kyuhyun says our age gap doesn't matter to him and he still likes me. He is one of the nicest most down to earth men I have ever met and I really do like him and can't wait for another date soon with him
