This year I found the love of my life. His name is Kim Taerae and he's from the group Tempest. We've been dating ever since January this year. He is the cutest and sweetest soul I've ever met and my first boyfriend too. I'm his first girlfriend too. The first girl he's asked out and it's me. I'm honoured to be honest that I'm the first girl to be asked out by him. Taerae and I are happy together very happy. We love being together actually. We can't stop shining like Tempest's song. It's an amazing song and Taerae says it's about me which is sweet. I'd like to think it's about me. No official confirmation on that anyway. The Tempest members do know about Taerae and I and they are happy that we are together. No negativity at all. I actually got to know Taerae via LEW. I used to work with him before he became an idol so that's how I became friends with LEW. We are still friends now even though I'm dating Taerae. All the Tempest boys are lovely and they always make me feel very welcome indeed. They also do. A lovely bunch of guys they are. It's my birthday today and I don't really have any plans. Taerae didn't mention anything. He's been known to keep secrets from me and surprise me before. No doubt he'll have the boys involved in planning something for my birthday. I wake up early as I am always excited for my birthday. I pick up my phone and see all the nice messages from people. I get loads of cute messages from Taerae. I still remember the day he asked me find his girlfriend at the start of this year. Obviously I'll still remember that day forever. I get out of bed and go downstairs for breakfast with my family. My phone rings and it's Taerae. "Good morning, birthday girl" he said. "Hey. Good morning, handsome thank you" I smile. "What are you up to?" Taerae asks. "Just had breakfast gonna get ready soon" I reply. "Lunchtime, make sure you're free" he said. "Yeah I should be. My mom might be taking me out this evening for dinner" I say. "Cool" he said. "Why do you ask?" I reply. "Because it's your birthday. Isn't it?" Taerae says. "Yes it is indeed" I reply. "I'll call you at noon" he said. "Okay. Don't you leave me hanging. I wanna know what this is all about" I reply. "You'll find out soon enough, princess" he said. "Okay cool" I reply. Taerae wouldn't tell me anything about where he's taking me at lunchtime. He's left he guessing. I guess I'll find out when he calls back. He might have arranged a nice surprise for me by the sounds

At lunchtime I get a call from Taerae. "Hello" I say. "Hey, birthday girl. Are you ready?" he said. "I will be soon. What's going on?" I ask. "I'm outside your house, princess" Taerae said. "Oh you are. Are you taking me somewhere?" I reply. "You'll wait and see. I'll wait out here till you're ready then we will go together" he says. "Okay" I reply. I get ready as quickly as I can. Do my hair and makeup for the day and choose out one of my nice new outfits i got myself for my birthday. I obviously wanted to look nice for my birthday of course and wherever Taerae is taking me. I walk out of my house and see him standing there in front of me. "Hello, birthday girl. Looking as beautiful as always of course, my love" Taerae said. "Thank you. Well it's my birthday so I thought I'd scrub up well and wear one of my new things" I reply. "Babe, you always look beautiful and you're all mine" he says. "So where are we going at this time on a Thursday afternoon. My birthday" I say. Jump in the cab and you'll see soon" he said as we both got in the cab waiting on the driveway. Taerae wouldn't tell me at all what was going on. Soon enough we arrive at the studio that Tempest rehearse in. Taerae made me wear a blindfold when I got out of the cab. "What are you making me do?" I say. "It'll be worth it when we get in a minute" he said. He walks me into the studio with him and opens the door to the studio. "Happy birthday, Y/ N" the guys exclaim. Taerae removes my blindfold. Oh wow! The guys had decorated the studio with banners, streamers and balloons all for my birthday. So sweet of them. "Wow, guys! What an amazing surprise?" I say. "Well we had to go all out for your birthday, Y/ N" Hyeongseop said. "Yeah it's your special day" Hyuk smiles. "It was all of our ideas but your boyfriend in particular" Hanbin said. I was speechless for a minute. I looked at Taerae and smiled. "There's snacks and cake don't hesitate to tuck in" Eunchan said. "Ohhhhh I won't" I reply. "Well happy birthday, baby. You deserve it" Taerae whispers in my ear. "This song is for you, Y/ N. Let's turn it up" LEW said. "Our song, baby" Taerae said. "Can't stop. Won't stop. Just can't stop shining" I sing as i listen to the song and music as it plays. I help myself to some of the food. Hwarang brings in the cake and they sing happy birthday to me. There are five candles on the cake which makes me feel like five years old again. Haha. I blow them out and make a wish. "Make a big wish" Hyuk said. "I have but I can't tell you" I smirk. "We wish that we will be best men at your wedding" Hanbin said. "Nah man. We are not thinking about that kinda thing" Taerae said. "Just yet" LEW said. There was lots of food. Can't believe Taerae and the boys did all this for my birthday. It is so super special of them. I have the best boyfriend and almost brothers in the world. I had a great birthday with Taerae, the boys and my family

It's a few weeks after my birthday now and Tempest have been invited to a beach party and I'm going to it of course. I have always loved a beach party. I love party vibes and I can't wait to go with my boyfriend. Can't wait to see him tonight too. Can't wait to party by the beach. I went shopping with my friends to get some beach things for the party as I didn't have anything quite suitable for the party. I have suitable things for the party now and can't wait to get it started. My friend is joining us too. The guys said I could bring and friend and my friend Minseo is coming. Taerae is sending a cab to pick Minseo and i up and take us to the beach for the party and we can't wait for it. We do love the beach and a good party. Minseo and I put on bathing suits on underneath our clothes to make it easier if we go for a swim or anything like that. The cab pulled up outside and took us there when Minseo and I were ready. Taerae knows we are on our way and he can't wait to see us. Well mainly me as I'm his girlfriend. There was a buzz at the beach when we arrived. Like a lively party vibe. Minseo and I try to find Taerae and his members. "Hey" I say tapping his shoulder. "Hey, baby. You're here. Hi, Minseo" Taerae said. "Hi" she said. "Love this party already" I say. "Me too. It's awesome just like you" he smiles. "Girls, help yourselves to food and drinks please. Don't hesitate" Eunchan said. So that's what Minseo and I did. We helped ourselves to food and then drinks. I stick with Taerae for a while and he has just arms around me and I think he's making his members jealous that he's the Maknae and the only one who has a girlfriend. They will just have to find girlfriends. "I think they should play our song, baby" Taerae said. "And what would that be?" I reply. "Ohhh what do you think? I know you know" he said. "Can't Stop Shining" I reply. "Yes it's our song and I'll ask the DJ to play it and we can dance together to it when it comes on. It is a beach party after all and we need our song" Taerae said. "Yes definitely I agree" I smile. "This moment I'm here with you, I feel so alive" he smiles. Taerae puts a request in for Can't Stop Shining to the DJ and he puts it in queue to be played soon for us. Can't wait to get up and dance when it comes on

The beach party continues but we are still waiting for Can't Stop Shining to play. It hasn't played yet but Taerae and I are still having a good time no matter what. I love being at this beach party with him and everyone else of course. Minseo and Eunchan are getting on well by the looks of it. That's nice. "The DJ needs to hurry up and play out song. I'll ask him again" Taerae said. "Don't worry he'll play it. It's in the queue" I reply. We waited a few minutes and yes Can't Stop Shining came on. "Here it is. We need to dance" Taerae said grabbing my hand. He pulls me onto the dance floor before I could say anything else. Taerae looks at me in my eyes and we start dancing together to our song Can't Stop Shining. We show off our best moves. At the end of the song, he pulls me in and looks intently into my eyes and then kisses me. "Just can't stop shining" he whispers in my left ear. "Let's celebrate. We're so delighted" I reply which is also a lyric from the song too. People look at Taerae and i sharing a romantic moment but we didn't care. "That was amazing. It's definitely our song now. I always dedicate it to you, my love" he smiles. I give him a warm smile. We enjoy the beach party for a bit longer till it wraps up. It was the best vibes ever and I got to hangout with my boyfriend and his mates and we got to dance to our song on the dance floor. It was the best night. "Best party I've ever been to because it was with you, beautiful" Taerae smiles. "Yes I have to agree too. Brilliant party with brilliant company and by that you know I mean you" I smile. "Yes, honey I do. You are the love of my life" he said. I smile in agreement. I get home just after 2:30am. It was a late one but worth it as we went to the best beach party. This year is the best so far as I found Taerae, who is the love of my life. Love him so much. Can't wait. We just can't stop shining

A/ N: Omg I love Tempest so much. I stan them. My fave new group of this year and one of the best things to come out of this year. Bad News is my fave song by a boy group this year and one of my fave debuts ever. It took me a while to settle on a bias. Was OT7 for a while but Hanbin stole my heart eventually so he's my bias but I love all members a lot. Can't Stop Shining is such a happy and feel good song. New album is good but I think I prefer b sides on their first album. Taerae is our cute and handsome Maknae. Very good looking and a good rapper too. Hope he's given more chance to shine in the future
