I met this boy called Thanatorn at my internship a few months ago when I had to do work experience at a company for two weeks. He was so cute the first time he walked in and I liked him a lot. However we only knew each other for two weeks then we had to go back to school from our work experience. We bonded over a couple of weeks but we suddenly lost contact with each other when we got busy again. I keep on considering in texting him but I just don't in case he's moved on and forgot about me. He probably has and probably doesn't like me in that way. I've never been popular with boys anyway. Not like some of my girls who are the popular ones with boys. I've never been that kind of girl and never will be even if I tried. Thanatorn is the first boy I've ever really liked a lot and grown feelings for dove the first time I met him. My feelings grew for him since I got to know him better. Anyway maybe I should just move on and make new friends. My best friend Annie is going to the park with her cousins for a picnic and they asked me I wanted to come and I agreed even though I don't really know them. Annie says that her family love going to the park for picnics and all that so I said that I would like to join them just to get out and do something different with different people. I have met them at the park now and there are a lot of people around. I am with Annie and her friends. I'm not too keen on very busy and crowded places. All the guys skateboard and ride bikes around the park like maniacs and it scares me sometimes. We are sat having a picnic. Annie looks over at a guy who was riding his bike peacefully by us. "Y/ N, is that the guy you met on work experience?" she asks. "Who Thanatorn. I don't know" I reply. "Looks like him to me. Go after him" she said. "No no way" I reply. "I swear it was him. I've never met him but I recognised him" she said. "So a lot of guys looks the same in my opinion" I reply. "So go and say hi to him. What are you waiting for, Y/ N?" Annie says. I giggled and shook my head at her. Annie has always been teasing me about all sorts especially when it comes to boys. I guess that's what best friends are for

I continue to hangout with Annie and her cousins for a bit longer in the park and I had a good time until my phone started going off with texts from Thanatorn saying that he saw me in the park with some other girls. He said he only saw me for a second. So Annie was right then. It was him. I didn't answer the messages at first. I waited a few minutes. Thanatorn wanted to see me since we are in the same place. I got up and took a walk through the park and met Thanatorn by the ice cream stand. I didn't tell anyone where I was going. I saw him and he smiled at me so I smiled back at him. At first it was a little awkward to be honest as I haven't seen him in a while. "Hi" Thanatorn said. "Hello" I say looking at him in a lovestruck way. "So how are you, Y/ N. What a funny coincidence?" he said. "I'm good and yes I know after all this time" I reply. "I caught a glimpse of you when I rode past on my bike and thought it was you from a distance" Thanatorn says. I blush a little bit. "So who are you with? Friends?" he asks. "My best friend and her cousins I'm with" I smile. "Ah right I see" he said. "So how have you been?" I ask. "Good. I've been well. Thank you. What about you?" Thanathorn replies. "Yeah I've been good too thank you. Just working hard to graduate school" I giggle. "Yes me too" he smiles. So Thanatorn and I talk for a bit longer before we had to go our own separate ways. "Y/ N, I think we should be friends again and hangout for a bit again. It's not like we fell out. I guess we just kinda lost touch with each other" Thanatorn said. "Yeah I guess we did. I keep on thinking about texting you and then I think that's the use as you probably won't wanna hangout with me" I say. "Of course I do, Y/ N" he replies. "Things have just been a bit hectic lately that's all" he said. "Oh okay probably me thinking the wrong thing again" I reply. "Don't worry. All is fine. I'll see you later" he smiles as I walk in the other direction and wave to him

A few weeks have passed and Thanatorn have seen each other twice since we bumped into each other in the park so we gave reconnected with each other since we bumped into each other which is good. We only briefly knew each other before when we first met but not very well. We are getting to know each other much better now and it feels so good to know him better now. I have never had a crush on a guy like this before. I think my feelings are developing for Thanatorn and it's growing into something much more now but I don't know how to say that to him though. I am too awkwardly shy sometimes. Thanatorn has asked me to help him with some of his homework at his place today so I'm going to his. It's one final piece of work he needs to get in for geography class and he's stuck on in. He asked me to help him even though i don't study geography and we go to different schools. I said to him I'll try my best to help him and guide him in the right direction. I am on my way to Thanathorn's house now. I've never been before. My mom thinking I'm going to another girls house not a boys. She wouldn't approve of that if she found out at all. I get to his place and knock on the door and there was an answer straight away like he was waiting by the door for me patiently. "Hi, Y/ N. Come in" Thanatorn said. "Hey" I smile stepping into his house and taking off my shoes. He smiled at me and lead me into the lounge. "Help yourself to whatever you want in the fridge or cupboards" he says. I smiled. We sit on the couch together and I go through a few things with him so that he understands. I like to help people and guide them in the right direction. Thanatorn was acting a little different. I don't know why. He just didn't seen himself to be honest. "Are you okay?" I ask Thanatorn. "Yes I'm fine" he says. I go into the kitchen to get a drink as I felt thirsty but I also felt another way too. Like maybe some kinda feelings for Thanatorn. Maybe that's how he's feeling. I go back in and i help him study a bit longer. I didn't want to stay too late as it's school the next day. I had to go home and have dinner and get ready for tomorrow. "Sorry, Thanatorn I should get going now. My mom wants me home for dinner" I say. "Okay sure that's fine, Y/ N. Thank you for helping me with my geography. I think I understand it better now" he said. "You're welcome no problem at all" i smile. Thanatorn awkwardly gives me a hug. "Hmmmm, Y/ N. Come again. Won't you?" he said. "Yeah sure I'd love to sometime" I say. "Yeah because I-I- I li.... you know I like spending time with you" he said. "Yes me too. Oh I gotta go. My mom will be waiting down the road" i say. Thanatorn did seem unusually nervous today especially just before I left. Like he couldn't bring himself to say something as he was stuttering and getting his words wrong. It was actually quite cute

Thanatorn's POV

It's a couple of months later and both Y/ N and I have graduated from high school now so we are both free and hanging out for the summer. We are close friends now but I feel like Y/ N has grown to be more than a friend now. Our favourite thing to do is taking a walk on the beach in the evening to get some steps in and sone nice evening air. I've been figuring out how I'm going to tell her I have feelings for her without making a fool of myself in front of her. I blush when I'm near her and my heart glows inside. That's a sign you like someone a lot. Y/ N and I are meeting this evening on the beach for a little walk like we do a few nights a week. Sometimes and take food down there but not tonight. I am walking to the pier to meet Y/ N. I noticed from afar that she was already there. I noticed her stunning long hair first of all from a distance. "Hey" I said to her when I got nearer and she turned around and smiled when she saw me. "Hi, you" she smiled. I smile and gave her a hug and then we started walking together to the beach and breathing in the fresh summer evening air. I couldn't take my eyes off Y/ N tonight for some reason. After about 20 minutes we stop and sit down on the sand and looked at each other for a minute and took a deep breath. We didn't say anything to each other for a good two minutes. "Y/ N" I say breaking the ice. "Yes" she said. "There is something I want to say to you but I don't want to sound like a fool" I say. "Why would you sound like a fool?" she said. "Because I like you" I say. Y/ N didn't say anything for a moment. "Well I actually like you too believed it or not" she said. "Really? You do? Do you?" I say. "Yes I think you're pretty amazing. A good friend to me. I've always had a crush on you. Huh" she said. I looked at her and I started laughing. She started laughing too so we both started laughing together. "Next time we should go on a walk here but we should go holding hands and walk close together" i smile. Y/ N smiles back. I think that says that we have fallen for each other
