Notes: Here's a little headcanon that lives rent-free in my head. I wrote this while I was tired, so it might not be good. I hope you guys enjoy it, anyways :)

Diluc

• Often times it is him who does all the work, while you're just trailing behind him like a little pussy /j

• Not that he'd mind though

• (low key enjoys you hiding behind him, he just loves protecting you even if it's just a game <3)

• For this round, you are feeling particularly brave

• So you decided to split up and hunt for the ghost

"Are you sure, dear? I know you don't like to be on your own."

"Mhm! I'm feeling brave today."

"Alright then... if you say so."

• He is hesitant, but let you do as you please

• It feels odd for him to not have you by his side

• Being the protective sweetheart that he is, he checks on you through the walkie-talkie

• Which is very sweet of him but it also startles you sometimes

• You are all alone in one of the rooms, there's nothing but silence
And all of the sudden you hear:

"(Y/n) are you okay???"

• It scares the living shit out of you but you quickly realize it is only Diluc

"Yes, I'm fine! Just don't--"

• Your sentence is quickly cut off when your flashlight starts to flicker uncontrollably

• The next thing he knew he heard you screaming bloody murderer through the proximity chat

Kaeya

• Oh boy

• This mf doesn't take the game seriously lol

• He would definitely try to flirt with the ghost and also crack a few jokes here and there just to mess with you

"Lisa Jackson! Are you single?"

*no response*

"Dang, she ghosted me."

"...Really."

• Another thing is, when you guy split up and you try to talk to him through the walkie-talkie

• He would purposely not to respond to you, making you to think that he was dead

• Only for him to somehow sneak up behind you without you noticing

"Boo."

"Oh my Archons, Kaeya!"

• When he really died though, he would throw objects at you to annoy you

• I could also imagine him giving you the wrong directions, leading you toward the ghost when it's in hunting mode

• 2/10 would not recommend playing with him 😔

Childe

• We all know this man likes to fight everything and anything

• So you bet your ass he would be hunting the ghost down ASAP the moment he loads into the game

• Unfortunately for him, there are no fighting mechanics in this game
So the closest thing that he could do similar to fighting is to charge in with a smudge stick

"Do not worry, (Y/n)! Your big and strong boyfriend is here to fend off the ghosts! Now, please hand me the lighter so I can light this thing up."

"Uh, I thought you have it on you???"

"..."

Childe loves to challenge himself

• He thought this game would be easy so he chose the highest difficulty and the biggest map possible

• Which is a huge mistake

•The ghost is already in hunting mode and chasing you guys down

• Without a lit smudge stick, there's no other way for you to prevent the ghost from hunting you
