"Hey, Zandik." You called out.
Standing next to you was your lover. You were watching as he hunched over the counter, examining the new concoction he had made. To your dismay, however, it seemed like he didn't hear you.
"Zandik?" You called again. And yet, he didn't respond, nor did he make any motion of acknowledging it. His hand was still under his chin and his brows furrowed in deep concentration.
"Zanny bear?"
He head lifted slightly at that name before he tsked.
"I told you I despise that name," he grumbled.
"Well, I tried calling you by your name two times and you didn't respond!" You said, but then smirked and continued, "You said you hate it... Yet, you only respond when I call you that..."
He turned his head to you and glared a little, "What are you trying to imply?"
"I don't know. It seems like you secretly like it, but who knows?" You teased.
His movements halted at that, his cheeks were painted with a subtle pink but you could still notice it.
"Wait, don't tell me—"
"Get out."
