It's been two months away from the home I knew, away from my dad and everything, I would be a fool to think I've gotten away successfully, it's either they've found me and was waiting for the right time to pounce on me.

At this point I didn't even give shit about anything, I was just living life while I still could.

I finally got a job through Matthew, although I didn't want to accept a job that came through his help, but he wouldn't even let me complete my statement before telling it's an argument I'll lost.

Matthew was like an angel sent to give me light when I was lost, I didn't want to believe that people like him existed because of the time we met, I was running away from the Italian Mafia and I just met him like that, like everything was planned out.

We actually became best of friends just like he had said. He is a good looking man and I thought he was kidding when he said we were gonna be best friends, when people ask if we're in a relationship both our reaction gives them answer enough, not him faking a puke and I giving the shittiest face ever, it was so funny each time.

I love Matthew, he's my best friend but I didn't feel like telling him what brought me to Sydney, I didn't want to drag him into my mess, he was going to be extra protective which wouldn't be a good thing, so I kept everything about my past a secret, he didn't need to know, the less he knew the better for both of us.

His brother Derek continued to be a thorn in my flesh, it was like any single opportunity he got he used it annoy me and each time he got to me, we couldn't stay in a room without being on each others neck, he kept on calling me angry bird and I've told him the only person who had the right to call me by any pet name was my best friend and he wasn't.

I was working in a clothing store as the assistant sales manager, Matthew's doing, I didn't have any of my school documents with me, even if I did I couldn't use it, fake identity remember.

Matthew told me I had a persuasive spirit in me and would make a good assistant sales manager, how he managed to get me the spot I don't know, but when I was interviewed by the store owner I think she likes me, so I was given the job.

I didn't know how long I would be in hiding, I might have gotten the job through Matthew's help but I need something to show that I was worthy of the job, proving myself wasn't enough, so I decided to take an online business class, I don't know if I had to live as Jenny forever, I'm a smart ass, passing wouldn't be a problem at all.

Today I closed a little late, we had a meeting with the boss.

I made my way out of the store as a waved a taxi to take me home, I'm being paid enough that I could get a car, but I wasn't ready to own one, even after so much persuasion from Matthew.

I got home and the time showed 9:23 pm, it's a cold night today I thought to myself as I shiver a little from the cold.

I'm hungry but I didn't feel like cooking, normally I called Matthew and he always brought us takeout as we ate and watched movies together but I didn't feel like calling him, I heard my phone ring inside my purse and I opened it to search for the phone, speak of the devil, I said to myself as Matthew's name flashed on the screen. I picked it and we talked for a while asking each other how our day was like before we said our good night and I ended the call.

Speaking of what to eat, I could find something light to eat from the refrigerator, it's late anyway.

I made my way to my room to carry out my normal night routine, when I was done having my bath and getting dressed I made my way to the kitchen to get something to eat, I scanned through when I spotted the ice cream I bought, I smiled to myself as I picked it together with biscuit to dip inside, it's not cold in my tummy anyway, I laughed silently to myself.
