As the girls kept practicing their dances repeatedly only taking ten minute breaks every couple hours and at around six - thirty pm Zara called it a day and sent the girls home to eat and drink something and rest up to see them bright and early the next day at nine am at the studio to continue rehearsals for the show. As the days turn into weeks that turn into months the girls are perfecting every move of every second to the best of their ability. Two weeks before the competition the costumes arrive. First Grace's costume for lycal is a pitch black dress that has a slit down the left hand side with some gold details. Star's tap costume is black and white top and skirt which is knee length and with a serial number. Abby's jazz costume is a baby blue cropped tank top with blue ripped jean shorts, and finally Clara 's costume is a pure white leotard and tutu with golden details and a silver tiara with gold jewels. And two weeks later it was the day of the competition. When the girls reached Emberglow theater they went backstage and got changed into their costumes ready to perform and win those point shoes for Clara. First up there was a girl from coral prep who danced to candle and the wind by Elton John, after that it was the twins Thea and Nash performing Time of my life from the movie Dirty dancing , and finally after that it was Grace's turn to impress the judges who were the Hawthorn parents. Grace danced to her absolute best not even attempting to muck up any step because the girl from Coral prep was pretty dang good like her fall down into a Développé was just so graceful, and the twins were to good to be true because their parents are the judges that gave them automatic point into the lead and the famous left from the movie gave then additional points. So that gave Grace some hard stuff to compete with and gain even more points, she can't afford to make any sort of fatal mistake that could cost not only her but Clara , the other girls , and Zara and her family's chance of getting their family heirloom. And Grace would pay for the mistake, but thankfully she didn't make a single mistake and did a wonderful job especially with her emotions and received a maximum amount of fifty-five points for herself and the team plus a team bonus of thirty-five points , so altogether the team has ninety points which puts them at second place surpassing Coral prep but behind the Hawthorns. After that the jazz dancers were next. First we had girl from Blue Ridge school of dance performing Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison and was insanely talented but mucked up a couple of steps, next up was was Avery and Rebbeca Hawthorn performing a duet All the good girls go to hell by Billie Eilish and was quite impressive but they also mucked up a step but other than that Abby was up. She was just so amazing, Abby just like her sister Grace didn't muck up not wanting the blame that Have feared. Abby received eighty-five points beating both Blue Ridge school of dance and the Hawthorns for now. After Abby's dance they got a fifteen minute break which gave Grace and Abby some time to change into their final costume. After the break Jameson and Grayson Hawthorn tap danced to Memories by Maroon five, after that their baby brother Xnder tapped to Imagine by John Lennon. Xnder tapped beautifully without mucking up which would give Star huge compassion. After the Hawthorns finished dancing a girl from Blackbay performed Material girl by Madonna and made it harder for Star but easier than the Hawthorns. Finally it was Star's time to shine, she danced with perfection not even mucking up, perfect time and everything including her terribly terrific attitude. And received a hundred and thirty-five points beating both Blackbay and the Hawthorns once again. After the tap dancers finished tapping it was time for the ballerinas. First Emily danced to Edelweiss from the movie sound of music and received six hundred points making it incredibly challenging for Clara to compete with. But Clara was determined to win. She danced the sugar plum fairy so gracefully suppassing and ultimately beating Emily by four hundred points. She had receive one thousand points fort the sugar plum fairy and was about to rush of stage to get ready for the group dance when Xander sprints on stage in a ballet costume and hold a matching one in his hand for Clara and says " Clara I have no time to explain just get dressed in this costume for the couple dance." Clara doesn't know what to do and says a panicked yes and sprints off stage and gets back on in five minutes. The first couple is from Rosemary church and danced to Mary did you know and got forty- five points, and then Thea and Nash go and re perform their dance from earlier and get seventy nine points putting them in first place at the moment. And finally it was Clara and Xander's turn, they danced to Love story by Taylor swift and received the maximum of nine hundred points beating Thea and Nash. After the couple dances were over Clara rushed off stage to get ready for her group dance without saying a single word to Xander. First up were the girls from Coral prep which did can't help falling in love with you by Elvis Presley, and the girls from Blackbay did blank space by Taylor swift. After that the girls from Bluerige did my way by Frank sinatra. Then after that the Hawthorns preformed feeling good by Michael Buble, and last but not least the Mcoy dance academy did Don't Blame by Taylor swift. The girls danced to the best of their ability and did not muck up any step because they wanted any and every chance to win those point shoes. After all the dancing the winners were announced dance by dance , then group by group and finally couple to couple. The girls were so nervous and so was Zara . She and the girls worked really hard to be here and did not want any of the time they spent wasted because they weren't good enough. So in third place for lycal was for Jane from Coral prep Grace was safe in second place we have ... Grace was panicking. In second place was Nash and Thea hawthorn grace was relieved. And in first place was Grace from the Mcoy academy ! Grace was shocked she won. The other girls cheered her on as she went up and collected her medal and trophy. Next was jazz. In third we had Hope from Bluerige, Abby was freaking out, in second we had Avery and Rebbeca Hawthorn and in first place we had Abby from the Mcoy academy. Once again Abby too was in shock as she went to get her medal and trophy while the girls cheered her on. Nex we have tap. In third we had Romary from Blackbay , then in second place we had Xander and Clara was surprised that her ex came second but was happy for him. Meaning in first place was star who, like the other two girls, was in shock while going up to get her medal and trophy once the others were cheering her on. And finally it was ballet before they moved on to the group dances. There were only two ballerinas so Clara was panicking was she about to lose against Emily. In second place we have Emily hawthorn! And Clara could not believe her eyes when she beat Emily Hawthorn. And in first place we have Clara Mcoy from the Mcoy academy. Clara along with her aunt had tears in her eyes finally beating a Hawthorn never felt better as they cheered and apuled her as she went up and took her medal and trophy. After standing with her group Clara calmed down and waited for the group winners to be announced. In fifth place we have Coral prep the girls reaxled a tiny bit, then in fourth place we have Blackbay once more relaxed but not as much. In third place we had Blueridge again. They calmed down but panicked that they could be second. In second place we had the hawthorns. The girls were fully relaxed because in first place was the Mcoy dance academy. The girls cheered as Clara and Grace went up and took the trophy for the team. And finally the couple dances. Now this time Clara panicked because if she won, she won with Xander. This was really killing her nerves. In third place was the couple from Rosemary church. Clara relaxed a tiny bit. In second place was (Clara panicked ) Thea and Nash Hawthorn. That's when Clara was in shock she and her ex beat her ex's older siblings. In first place we have Clara Mcoy and her partner Alexander Hawthorn. Both Clara and Xander just stood in utter shock just processing everything. Then the two of them went up and accepted the medals and trophy. After the show the girls went home showered and went straight to bed because they were so exhausted and Zara had already excused them from dance for the next couple of weeks.
