"Come on, we're gonna start decorating without you guys!"
"We're coming!"
Akito turns to me and tilts his head to the side, as if asking a question:
'Do you want to decorate the tree?'
I nod yes, and we head downstairs.
"Finally! Let's get started already."
"Stop acting like- uh."
"What? You look like you want to say something. Or is it... you don't want to because Toya's over there eating cheesecake?"
"Huh? I heard my name. Also this cheesecake is really good."
"You heard nothing."
"Okay."
20 minutes later
"Whew! That was more exhausting than it needed to be."
*staaaaare*
"What? I helped out."
"I helped out! Stop staring at me!"
"Uh huh. Totally."
"Shut up- oh, Toya, don't eat that. It's expired."
"Oh." (already eating it)
"Toya! That's been expired for, like, 4 weeks!"
"OH SHI-"
Toya got sick.
[Toya, Akito]
*throwing up, dying, crying, in pain*
"It's okay, it's okay. Hey Google, how do you take care of sick people?"
"'Kito?"
"Yeah?"
"I threw up blood."
"WHAT?! Do you have pneumonia or something?!"
"gasp! You remember what pneumonia is? I can die happy- *throwing up again*"
"NO DON'T DIE DON'T DIE-"
They took Toya to the doctor. He doesn't have pneumonia. He just needs to rest. They also told him to start checking the expiration date on things before eating them.
"I'm so tired..."
"And when we're so close to Christmas, too..."
