'Goodness. I didn't travel back in time. I transmigrated in the world of mo dao zu shi.'

Mo dao zu shi or grandmaster of demonic cultivation was a famous chinese novel in the time of her past life.

'How is that even possible? Is God messing with me? Ugh, I don't even have the time to think about it.'

In the meantime Wei WuXian was taking in the apparence of the female in front of her.

She was beautiful and had an aura of majesty. But her clothes were tattered.

"Guniang, where are you from? Your clothes are torn in places."

Rubi snapped out of her stupor, "A-ahhh yes, I actually have no money with me. And to be honest, I am not sure how I came here. A part of my mind is blank."

Wei WuXian then said, his features animated out in a beautiful way, "Then let me help you. It will be impolite to leave a young lady like you to he left behind like this with no help."

Rubi was hesitant at first, "Ah please do not trouble yourself with me."

"It is no trouble at all Guniang. It's the job of cultivators to help those in need."

At that moment, another deeper voice filled with anger and fierceness kicked it, "Wei WuXian! Where are you? Don't go running off. We need to head back to Lotus Pier."

Rubi didn't recognise the voice but she didn't have to. She already knew who it was.

It was Jiang Cheng, Wei WuXian's shidi.

Wei WuXian laughed nervously, "Ahahahah. There is a young lady here Jiang Cheng. Don't shout."

Jiang Cheng soon came into view and his features were still in an all familiar scowl.

He wore purple robes, his hair tied in a high bun by a headpiece, a sword hanging by his waist. His features, although were still in a scowling manner, were sharp and handsome.

"Who are you flirting with now?"
"I am not flirting Jiang Cheng." Wei WuXian answered, pouting.

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes, "Then what are you doing? Surely you are not just standing there in front of a lady doing nothing."
" Jiang Cheng don't be ridiculous. This lady here needs out help."

Jiang Cheng eyed Rubi from top to bottom. Then out of nowhere he asked, "Which sect are you from?"

Rubi was stumped at that point. She was not from any sect at all. She was not even a cultivator.

Just when she was about to say she was not a cultivator her hand bumped into something by her waist.

It was a sword.

...Fuck. She can't say she is not a cultuvator because she has a sword with her.

I mean obviously she can, but that will arise even more questions. She didn't need any more suspicions on her.

"I am not from any sect, Young Master Jiang."
"Oh, you know me?" Asked Jiang WanYin, raising an eyebrow.

Rubi gulped, "I mean you are the heir of the YunMeng Jiang sect. So yes I suppose. I know Young Master Wei as well."

Wei WuXian's eyes went round and wide at that point.

Rubi now looked at her surroundings and sighed. This was an awkward place to talk this.

"I suppose I should go now. Thank you young masters."
"Wait, let us help you at least. It seems you are not physically well too."
"..."

Rubi didn't know what to answer to that. She remained silent.

"I bumped into you earlier. So take this as repayment. " Wei WuXian said grinning brightly.

Rubi sighed, "It seems Young Master is adamant on helping me."

After that Wei WuXian and Jiang Cheng took her to Lotus Pier and let the healers check her.

"Guniang, your injuries are not too serious. Your spiritual energy has healed most of it already. I suggest you take a few days rest and then you may start living your normal life."

Rubi thanked the healer. The healer then left her in the infirmary to rest.

Wei WuXian came in and ginned at her, "Are you feeling alright now?"
"Yes. Thank you Young Master Wei."
"Mention not. You seem like a rough cultivator."
"Hahaha yes."
"Ah Guniang, I didn't ask your name yet. What is it?"

This time Rubi stumbled upon the question. She couldn't reveal her real name as it was Kim Rubi. Despite having a Chinese mother, her surname was still of her Korean father.

"Tian Xing." she replied, smiling.

Wei WuXian stilled a bit. Not that the name was anything weird. But the smile held something more than he knew. It felt like the name meant something more. But he didn't question it.

"Ohhh so are you my Jiejie or Meimei? You look like you could be either." He asked with a chuckle.

Rubi laughed softly in return, "I am your Jiejie. You can call me what you want to."

"Tian Guniang."
"Alright then."

A/N: Tian means smile. Xing means star.
