Thirty years ago, Tároc Vsar and the human female clan leader Ellen decided to bury the hatchet and work together for a common future, aiming to prevent the extinction of both species.

To their surprise, the two clans grew closer rather quickly and the first relations were quickly established.

What neither expected is to find a lover in each other, something that happened and an intensely strong and loving relationship was born between the two former enemies.

Within a year, the two clans officially merged, though in the end this was just a formality, as most of the Shri'Traccal men had already made new lives with human women.

Several clans took an example of the cooperation between two lovers and also entered into a cautious cooperation.

So did the clan of the ruthless Taroc latarji, at least after the violent leader was deposed and Vsar's old Ikat, Rhan, took over Taroc's role.

The new clan prospered, if only temporarily, as a threat soon arrived from the north in the form of Latarji and several other Taroc who had no intention of coexisting peacefully with the human females.

They wanted to dominate, rule and conquer. That they had been busy taking over power for much longer became apparent when they started to aim the heavy long-range weapons at the settlements of the cooperating clans.

The small bright spot that Vsar and Ellen, Rhan and Gh'ara had managed to achieve through their collaborations was almost nipped in the bud by the war that broke out in the following years.

But where previously the Shri'Traccal men and human women were diametrically opposed, now many a clan worked together to stop the advance of Latarji and his followers.

The following story takes you to the aftermath of the Twelve Years' War.
