"sure," isla replied while holding her headphones.
"ready," taeyong said.
he played the background music, and isla started singing the lyrics.
"cause karma is my boyfriend,"
"karma is a god,"
"karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend,"
"karma's a relaxing thought,"
"aren't you envious that for you, it's not?"
the song was stopped, and taeyong gave an 'okay' to isla. isla took off her headphones and exited the recording studio, taking the seat next to taeyong.
"it's so good," he commented before pressing the space bar, replaying the recorded voice.
isla couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. the song was so good, and she is already obsessed with the song even though the album has not been completed yet.
"it's so good and addictive," taeyong said, pausing the song.
"i know," isla chuckled.
"how many songs left?" taeyong asked.
"three. just three more left to be recorded," isla said.
"who's helping you out with that?" taeyong asked.
"my producers from wild. i'm good with that, though. hopefully," isla chuckled.
"good to hear," taeyong said.
"what about you guys? all good?" isla asked.
"yeah, the choreography's easier than before," taeyong said.
isla laughed and nodded, "glad this time you guys said it's easier."
"girl, previously, it's hard as fuck," he said.
isla laughed and shook her head, "it's not that hard. you guys nailed it eventually."
"plus, we have a good teacher. so, it's a plus," taeyong added.
isla laughed, "you guys should be thankful i'm around."
"well, yeah. when it was the pandemic, and we just get the choreography through a video, we fucked up a lot," he said.
isla chuckled, "not much though. just enough fucking up. just at the limit."
