Heeseung's pov:
"I'm Gemma, nice to meet you," I go, trying to reenact the dialogue word for word.
"Gemma?" he repeats.
"Oh, sorry. I'm Heeseung, nice to meet you," I correct.
"Nice to meet you, Heeseung."
Weirdly, my name sounds spicy in his mouth. He suddenly has this smile he only let out when he is giving me compliments.
"I never noticed you on campus before, and you're kinda cool. I was wondering if you wanted to be friends with me?"
"Did she really say that? How cheesy!"
I'm taken aback.
"Is it part of the simulation?" I ask.
"I mean, how did she never notice you before?"
I can't tell if he's talking to me or to himself. This is getting annoying.
"Hey! You're supposed to help me! Not psychoanalyse whoever I'm impersonating!"
"Yeah, yeah, sorry. Please, go again."
Now, he's the one that's annoyed. What's his problem?
Regardless, I repeat myself, and he goes back to his smiling face. The one that makes my fingertips tingle.
"Friends?"
It's just one word, but it makes me weirdly flustered. Why does the word friend suddenly sound so lascivious?
"Sure, let's be friends," he replies, leaning towards me.I do my best to gather myself for the last reply,
"Alright, let's exchange numbers."
"WHAT!?" he yells.
