To say the very least the girl standing next to me is stubborn but the other times I have seen her she's also vulnerable maybe even naive mixed in to it.
"Maybe you should wear a jacket next time or bring a umbrella." I said walking down the hallway
"I never asked." She said
I rolled my eyes before going to my apartment I had to get ready quick before going off for practice, there was another boxing game and I'm going to win again.
I grabbed my bag along with my keys before leaving again, I didn't see Lila in the hallway knowing she had a key for once and got in.

"Another one Sam, your being a little weak!" Colby yelled
I rolled my eyes before my partner got me right in the eye, it was nothing personal but I was pissed. I threw my gloves off before grabbing my shit and left, I got enough of my training in for the day anyway.
After getting back to the apartment complex I went digging for my keys only for them not to be there.
"Fuck." I muttered trying to open my door
But unlike some people I actually lock mine.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." I said banging my head against my door
"Sam?"
I turn around seeing Lila there her eyes were puffy and red, her makeup was running down her face and she looked sick and cold.
"Are you okay?" She ask again after I didn't answer her
"No, I'm not okay! I got punched in the fucking eye and my keys are gone, do I look okay!" I yelled
She bit her lip before coming over towards me "Let's go."
"Where?" I asked
"To my apartment dummy, I'll help with your eye and you can stay the night." She said
"No." I sternly said
"Why?" She asked "I just want to help."
"I don't need it." I said before leaving her in the hallway
I never think before I speak but after that night I thought about every little word I was going to say.
