"I think the name Knights of Walpurgis is a dragged out and bad name for some sort of tribe." Avella put some books back on the shelf in the library

Her and Tom were in an aisle. There were other seventh years studying in the distance.

"I like the name, it's my group after all." He defended

"It sounds too medieval. You need something people would remember." She scavenged the shelves for new books

"Too medieval?! My Knights of Walpurgis is perfectly fine, Vella." He folded his arms

"I'm not so sure. It will be a name people will make fun of. Not fear." She truthfully reminded

He thought for a moment, and surprisingly agreed.

"Then what do you suggest, Lessie?" He rose his eyebrows

"It's Lestrange! You haven't called me that in ages." Said she

"Well, what do you suggest, Vella?" He sheepishly looked at her

"Deatheaters. It sounds more eerie and frightening." She replied

"Where did you find that name" he looked confused but impressed

"From my amazing mind, that sometimes you do not have, Tom" she played

"It is a great name, works better than Knights of Walpurgis." He looked thoughtful

"I also took time out to make your group more distinctive" she got some papers out her pocket. She didn't know why she was helping him, it was like she was under a spell. A spell of obsession and love she didn't know she possessed.

She handed some drawings of masks, they looked more like masquerade masks but that covered your whole face.

"You get unique and individual ones for each. That mask gives the deatheaters a sense of identity. And people will know what to fear, because now we just look like random harmless people" she replied

He scanned the page, wonder in his eyes. He brushed over the page, looked at Avella and gave her a passionate kiss. She returned.

"Wondrous work. This is making it all come together. We will get these masks. We will conquer the world!" He spun her around smiling

Lucretia and the rest of the deatheaters stood watching the duo from a far corner. They didn't like Avella Lestrange, but that doesn't mean they didn't worship her as much as Tom did.

Months passed after that moment in the library, Dumbledore is becoming more and more suspicious. News broke out that Grindelwald had been defeated and was all splattered on the front pages of the Daily Prophet.

Tom, was devastated. His idol, destroyed by a mere Professor. But that meant that the Elder wand, was up for grabs. But that meant, the Elder Wand, is now Dumbledore's.

Tom needed that wand, but was to come. He wanted to destroy all muggles. But doesn't that mean he will destroy himself?

"Why don't we get a mark, on our left forearm, to symbolise us, and it is rumoured to say the devil sat on the left, in Mudblood world. Why not put it on the forearm" Tom's eyes lit up

"Firstly, how? Secondly, where's the design. You'd have to conjure up a new spell." She shrugged

"You can do that, right? If we can, we can have marks unknown to people and it will finally prove their loyalty" he proudly exclaimed

"It will take ages" she sighed in return

"It will happen. I Will make sure of it, threaten anybody even kill." He told his partner

"Tom! Keep it down will you? Are you trying to get us in Azkaban?!" Avella seethed

"Grindelwald is dead. Now it's for me to carry his noble work and Salazar Slytherin's on" he smirked

He was deadly handsome. He had a pretty face but a rotten heart. He was villainous, and nobody even knew it.

"I need you here with me. You understand?" He gripped her shoulders

She was hesitant.

"You don't understand. You're all I have. All I have to love" he gulped

"I don't know. I wanted to live a life of innocence." She shrugged

"Well, living a life of innocence isn't all that, but living a life of scandalous with me, is." He smirked

She thought about it. Was leading a good life really that boring?

"Just promise me you'll love me more than anybody else. Or anything else" she held his hands

"Do you want me to kill to show you? I have killed for you" he came closer

"But would you be willing to die for me?" She looked at his puzzled face

"Would you?" He spun it around

"Yes, but I'm asking you Tom Riddle." She answered

"I can't die, I'm immortal, Vells" he says

"But if you were mortal, would you?" She looked at him expectantly

This was the ultimate question of love. Would he throw all his hard work away for her?

He bowed his head and thought for what seemed like a long time.

"Yes..no. I don't know, Vella" he ran his hands through his thick wavy hair

"But I love you. More than I have to anybody, I can't let you go. Not now, not ever." He tried to smile

"Avella, why would you just want to be like the others, go get a job and not make anything of yourself. We are making history, we are making something of ourselves." He pointed to himself

"Yes, but what your making of yourself is sinister, Tom." She rejected

He only let her and Professors call him by his Wizarding name. Not even his peers could anymore unless they wanted to face death

"You play foully to get what you want, Tom. I don't think I can play foul anymore." Avella inhaled

"Why? You have come so far. So far with me, Vella, this is our journey. Sometimes in life you have to play foul with no regrets. I know what you're capable of, not many people think you are capable of those things. I can see things in you nobody else can, and you are great Lessie." He held her hand

"Yeah but I can do in a good way. You're implying it in a bad way" she crossed her arms and taking her hand away from his

"My mistress, you cannot reject it now. It is already infiltrated in you. You are too far in, into darkness. The only way to get out is if you go through with it" his eyes collided with hers

Their relationship was very mysterious. Very peculiar.

But was Avella Lestrange really evil? Or is she just playing with her innocence and mind?
