Some eclipses had passed. Avella was now 23, and living happily with Victor in their own little cottage. They haven't had any offsprings yet. They hope to, when the time feels right. But their relationship was earthier than Tom and hers was.

Tom was forgotten, in Avella's mind. Tom was only a  faint memory.

She also had a great job, she had made her own company. It had boomed over the years. She was known as breaking 'gender norms. And featured on the cover of Witch Weekly and also business for Wizards.

She felt like she would go Diagon Aleey by herself, usually, Victor would accompany her always. He had been more relaxed around Avella now.

She was surfing the windows of Flourish and Blott's as she dearly loved to read. Until her mind wandered to a dark alleyway leading to Knockturn Alley.

She hadn't been there since she gave the locket to Tom. But curiosity got the better of her so she decided to walk closer and closer until she found herself outside Borgin and Burkes. This time, she was older and more mature.

She walked in, feeling confident but uncomfortable. She surfed the shelves. Looking for something curious.

"Avella?" A voice she knew too well

She turned around to meet the deep and enchanting eyes of none other than Tom Marvolo Riddle. Her first ever love.

Avella fumbled with her fingers.

"Tom." She regarded with unease

"You look..." he trailed off thinking of what to say

"Older. More like a lady" she said in her mature voice

"You was always a lady" he complimented

They stood there in an awkward silence. She knew Tom wanted to say more.

"Avella. I never explained myself fully. What happened years ago. Can we be on amend? Things have took a turn for the worst." He replied

"What makes you think that you have a right to waltz back in my life after you completely crushed me and disregarded my feelings for your own safety?" Avella spitefully replied

"I thought about it and I have been deemed wrong. If we give us another chance...we could be great you know. We can finally have our dream. Ruling the world" he stepped forward

Avella wasn't like Hogwarts Avella. She has blossomed, but her mind was still strong willed.

"I will not get infiltrated by your excuses and schemes anymore. I am finally living how I want and I am happy. Happy when you're not around, Tom." Avella truthfully acknowledged

He nodded, quietly whispering some things.

"This was your own doing, you have to pay the price, not I anymore. For I have already paid my debt." She turned to ask out the shop

He stopped her.

"You may think me mad but I still love you. And I hate myself to love you so. Please, I was young." He regarded

"Weren't we all young and naïve? I was, for ever loving such a fiend" Avella wickedly replied

"My Vella. Come back to me, I didn't mean anything I said to you. I am regretting every moment of that night. We all make mistakes, don't we?" He tried to win her over

"Your mistake was too big to go back and forget. You totally wounded me! In every possible way to shatter love."  She flamed

"You don't understand i need you, you're all I have left" he whispered

"To use again? I don't think so." She rejected

He dropped to his knees and hugged her legs. He had never looked so desperate for love.

"I still want you. I love you, come back to me. I know you want to" he kept going

"Tom Riddle! I'm afraid you find me already bonded with another. You find I am already married" she gives her hand and shows him a glistening ring. Fixated with one big diamond.

He stared at the rock in shock. Totally bewildered by his revelation. Avella? His Avella? Married?! To whom?

Thoughts were running in his head. He look a closer look, clasping his hand in hers to examine the ring. He tried to consume his sadness but tried to compress his anger.

"When was this?" he muttered, he was too late. Avella had moved on...from him. Which he thought would be impossible seeming how inseparable they had become.

"A few months after I had graduated. They made me get an arranged marriage. But it turned out better than expected" she refrained her touch from his

"A worthy gentlemen?" Tom asked

"Quite so, some even to say handsome." She stared at him

Still the same, he looked slightly peaky.

"Well I best be on my way" she smiled and turned

"What his name?" He asked from behind

"Why do you ought to know?" She didn't turn around

"Mere curiosity, Lessie." He says

He hadn't called her that in ages. She wasn't a Lestrange anymore.

"Victor Moncoufere, I am now Avella Moncoufere." She said before walking out and dissaparating into thin air.

Tom stood there, utterly perplexed and annoyed. Victor Moncoufere swirled his mind. He has to win Avella back. But how? He had to travel to Albania and do his things. But he couldn't leave Avella to miss all the fun.

How could he convince her? So he started to think, and think, and think.
